From what I can tell from Google maps, they came in on the Weverijstraat, took the hard left onto the climb up the Denderstraat which turns into the Abdijstraat when you hear the birds chirping, just before you get to the trees and metal fence along the left, then they take the right onto the cobbles of the upper Vesten/Ouderbergstraat, and as others have mentioned, the Vesten comes up from where the cop in orange is.
"De Muur" aka "The Wall", what a shame that they don't include it in the race anymore, awesome vid btw, greetings from Belgium :) Nevertheless tomorrow is the day for the 100th edition Tour de Flanders, its still great tbh !
No that is the "kloosterstraat" i think When the cobblestones start, and the orange "cop" , thats where the vesten joins them... they have taken another way ... (same difficulty i guess, just less cobblestones)
Incredible video ! Was it your first time riding the Muur ? In 2007 there were so much people u couldn't ride on the Muur lol. Must be frustating if U come from far away to Belgium.
Met wat voor fiets? Ik doe ze ook bijna elke week, en ik vind de kloosterstraat moeilijker door de steilte, maar als je echt slecht bent op kasseien of je rijd met een MTB dan is dat al helemaal iets anders hé :)
Well, the 2 sides each got their difficulties, so I don't think there's a harder one, although I like the Veste more :) You can see they don't know the climb too good, I've done it faster, but it's no bad time
nice video too bad you guys didnt follow the real "ronde van vlaanderen" start of "de muur" you should have came from the street behind the orange policemen but still very nicely done!!
Fantastic video, a close look to one of cycling monuments!

I feel pain just watching it. Thanks for posting.
Very nice to see people clapping for you up the climb.
