- We are finally welding this tube front onto the car. This kit is for 94-04 Mustang from teamZ. We are taking you through the steps to to install this front end. I will say it is a hard install for the average DIY person. But if you have the will and a welder take your time and you can do it!!
It was a rad time! Cars really coming together, nice job Wilson Garage!!!
I appreciate it and appreciate the help!!
Unless you had that car on a level jig, and the frame rails were leveled, your only level to your resting suspension. Me and Adam Miner installed some of the first sn95 kits and when I swapped front suspension what was square before and level, was altered due to my oversite of utilizing the previous level suspension to level the bars, rather than the frame being level and stagnant.
It was definitely a learning experience.
hey man doing my tube front end now this videos been super helpful, one question i have, how did you know what height to set the new lower frame rail tube at in comparison to the original frame rail? i dont know if there is a dimension for it or just go low enough so the bent bar clears the fender?
@@nick.dinoia I believe I did the back to front lower tube first the one running out from the bottom of the strut tower. That put my upper fender tubes in a good enough position. However tack everything first and test fit the fenders. It's a very long tedious job. Take your time double check and when you get upset it's time to walk away and come back a different day.
@@wilsongarage9888 hahahaha thanks for the reply. yeah i just got all the plates square to the chassis and frame rails and finally welded those in today. and exactly what im doing i have just been struggling on what height to tack that lower frame rail tube in at. toward the bottom of the plate/ frame rail or more toward the middle of the factory lower frame rail?
Where did you put your fuse block for windows lights etc?
This car has no factory wiring left in it.
It will all be wired to a fuse box mounted under the dash.
Ohh got ya. Well so far so good friend. Keep up the good work.
