I think there's a lot to learn simply form just watching a master at work! It certainly helps me!
@@matomoscos5018 I do that with climbing videos! ;) Those aren't sped up though, so you can actually see what they are doing.

Also, could you do a video about how you organize (or maybe don't organize) your layers? You seem to lose layers WAY less than I do. I also don't really know when I should make a new layer - some things naturally make sense on the same layer, like adding highlights that affect the whole scene, but for many other things I feel like I make WAY too many layers and then get lost in them. I hate realizing too late that the last ten minutes of drawing was actually on the wrong layer...
I also often wind up spending ages getting frustrated because I can't figure out where a certain layer went that I need to adjust. Literally had to click through each individual layer last night because it took so long. There's got to be a better way of organizing. Can you let us know if you have any tips or tricks for how you organize your layers? (Or if this is just one of the woes of digital art?)

I kinda usually do the same technique with warping and painting over cropped sections. But i dont have the luxury of using a 3D model as a base. My computer is an old workhorse and would crash or slowdown.
Understandable, but if there's no 3d, a photo works too! You can even photograph yourself in the pose and that would get the job done!
