What you have said is absolute truth. The commando project was so mediocre, but highly priced. Those who purchased can keep a Vostok Commander and HMT Commando side by side and see the difference in quality. Its a bubble created by hype which will explode soon.

Vostok watches are indeed VFM. I have 3 Vostoks already. 2 are on the way....At 3:30 sec mark, the finishing of the hours markers are not great..there are many empty spaces left without coloring..for the price paid we cant expect perfection anyways...great video btw....

It's not an issue, its a feature of Vostok. Keeping it wobbly is Vostok's way to protect it from breaking or tilting if dropped accidentally while winding. Vostok offers reasonable QC by the way.

Thanks for the review. Just curious is the crystal acryclic screen any good in terms or durability?
Vostok uses 3mm thick acrylic crystal which they believe can tolerate more pressure than mineral or sapphire crystal. It does it's job well.

The problem with using the 8 to 12 technique to adjust date can damage the movement. Happened with me so the cautionary note.
This is actually suggested by Vostok in the user manual, however, thanks for sharing your experience Sir, definately will help others 🙏
