You could use a scallop edge square image from Cricut Access and "slice" one edge off to make it straight, then duplicate the shape and flip it and weld the two together along the straight edge :)
@@CraftWithSarah thanks! I actually took my 5x7 invite and cut a deckle into it manually. I traced that, scanned it, and uploaded it to design space and contoured out the inside and outside so it was transparent. Made a 5x7 rectangle and put my scan over it and hit slice. The only thing I'm worried about now is how I make sure I have the proportions right. The paper it was traced on was 8.5x11 and the deckle invite was just eyeballed on the paper. Any suggestions?
Great explanations! I found it fairly easy to follow along! I'm trying to locate those small glue bottles with the fine tips. (@15:02) I didn't see an Amazon link for that. Thank you!
Hi Sarah,I love your side edge animal cards! Would you by any chance know how to cut this out on brother canvas workspace? I’m desperate to know how to do this ! Thanks 😊
Thank you :) I have a video on how to cut layered designs in the Canvas software but as I don't have a Scan n Cut I'm afraid I don't know how you would design the side edge cards using their software. ruclips.net/video/_qtQCOYGL48/видео.html
@@carmenbyrne4088 I'm with you! I have SnC SDX225 which is nice machine BUT there's so many more videos with Cricut so I got a Maker 3 also! YAY! it's REALLY been fun!
@@aliciakey9333 Hi Alicia,do you need Design space if you have a Cricut? If so what’s the cost please as I’m thinking I might get the Joy machine also . Thankyou x
Can you tell me what's layers you glued together to make the card slimmer? I am making this as my daughter lost her 🐱 this Monday. I have messed it up once or twice but getting there. Even created a one piece envelope
I'm afraid I can't remember which layers I glued and foamed and I don't have the card any more to check. I probably glued them all apart from the main head which was foamed to add a bit of dimension, and maybe the tail? I'm sorry to hear about you daughter's cat.
By Far......This is the best video for side edged cards... thank you
