Don’t get me wrong I like Bose speakers, but they have always came across to my with a bit of an artificial sound quality to me. After training my ears in school I appreciate the more realistic sound of the QSC
The way the QSC presents a mid-forward imprint makes me appreciate the Bose S1. I will Say this which no one is saying in any video I watch about the Bose versus the QSC or the EV8; the Bose S1 plays very nicely with EQ. What does that mean? It means it is easier to dial in a nice sound. For me, this is where a speaker box brings it or not. The midrange is so important to the human ear. Get a box that helps your equipment shine not fight with it.
Hey OPAZ, first off thanks for doing this! I'm a Country lead singer in a 4 to 6 piece band. We currently use the SoundCraft UI24R as our sound board. I own a Bose L1 and just use it on my back patio or in my room when practicing and for fun. So, I am familiar with the BOSE sound. For IEMs, we use Shure PSM300, but I do like the connection and freedom of using on stage monitors. What are your thoughts on this? I'm looking to make a major purchase of FOH Speakers and Subs. We currently perform in venues with 40 to 200 people but want the Indoor/Outdoor flexibility of 500 people. Suggestions? I would also add that I enjoy almost all types of music and want the flexibility of singing/playing multi-genre.
I'm not familiar with the Shure IEMs mentioned so cannot comment. Hopefully somebody else can As for your FOH speakers, I would recommend RCF NXL 24-A Mk2's for many reasons (will upload a review of mine very soon). The 8004 AS subs will compliment the 24-A's well. Not too sure what your budget is Martin but this system will cater for you required outdoor/indoor and up to 500 people flexibility
Both sound great imo. I think the Bose sounds more clean & natural, but then the QSC sound clear and has more power. I guess the best all comes down to what people are personally after.
As stated in the upload just going over a few main diss & adds, not mentioning everything. The sheer output advantage of the K8 (127dB to S1 109dB), far outweighs the dispertation of S1
So I thing that little baby Pro 1 still sound amazing for its size. There is a big power difference there. So I think a better match would be to stack 2 Bose agents the K8 (“Quentucky Fried Chicken”) one. Still that would 1000w QSC to Bose 80w. Maybe better to compare a QSC CP8? "A Good Post it got me thinking."
Piano and hi hat weak and distant on the bose and bose bass is boomy.Qsc has clean clear piano and you can hear the drumsticks hitting the hi hat much clearer and bass is solid and tidy. Not a qsc fan well done Bose but Qsc for the win Good vid!
@@opaz. Great review. I already subscribed. I am a singer and I want a portable PA system for indoors and outdoors venues to be able to reach at least 200 people. So I am looking for a PA with good quality sound, with Bluetooth option, and powerful volume for microphone voice, and for the Bluetooth also. Do you think qsc is the brand or there is another brand you recommend me? Thanks and keep doing your reviews. From all the reviews I checked yours ARE THE BEST...👍
@@opaz. you are welcome.. I was checking JBL SRX815P but it is more expensive than QSC K12... Please I need your expertise.. I like the QSC K12 price better than JBL SRX815P . And I like QSC K12 is lighter than the JBL.. WHat matter for me is good quality, Good volume for voice singing mic, but also I noticed that QSC K12 is not builted with Bluetooth option. Well I don't care if I have to hardware my mp3 or cellphone Android to this unit.. I owned a Bose s1 compact pro and I like the sound, I like that it's builted with Bluetooth and also with a lithium battery. But...but.. What I don't like is when I played my Android phone the music... The music volume is loud but for the voice microphone The volume start to be heard when it's in the middle volume.. Before that , you can not hear anything when I sing through the mic. I have to place or turn up the mic volume from middle to close maximum volume. That's why I need your help OPAZ Please suggest me some brand models for my needs, especially for outdoors like 200 people venue. THANKS.. I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK.
As portable PA systems, they both have their advantages that suit the individual. When it comes down to sound quality, I hink that is for the listener to decide.
Why people bother to do these sound comparison videos on RUclips, I'll never understand. Do yourself a favour and go to a store that has both you can listen to in person. Never compare the sound of speakers from any kind of video. I have both these speakers and they sound nothing at all like what I'm hearing on my high quality headphones - they sound better!
@@opaz. Yes you did mention this but Im just talking about the general trend of the practice on RUclips. What does anyone have to gain from hearing speakers this way? A false representation of sound for everyone and some of your time wasted. I already see comments about one speaker sounding better than the other. This is a disservice to companies making good speaker if anything. You can be a better educator by not providing sound comparisons via microphones and headphones.
Agree. I also promote to demo themselves as they have different ears, difference tastes in music etc. These days I try to practice review only as I am so busy. Setting up a demo is something I don't have the time for

The QSC sounds good, and the Bose is very smooth and easy to listen to. If you get to use a Bose live you may just love it, I have and do.

@@opaz. Thank you kindly!😁 I will check them out!
the qsc bass sound more natural ,,, and clean that what i looking for ,,, thanks
The QSC CP8 would be the nearer comparison to the Bose. It's QSC's lightest speaker. For small combos, weight and size can be deciding factors.
True 👍🏻
Both sound great imo. I think the Bose sounds more clean & natural, but then the QSC sound clear and has more power.
I guess the best all comes down to what people are personally after.
Number one better to me... Like a real sound of a band
Compare apples to apples.
The bose is a smaller box, smaller woofer and horn.
This isn't a fair test.
It is a subscriber Q & A. .. all mentioned in the very beginning of the upload. .. NOT meant to be a fair test!
Does the QSC’s woofer keep up with the high-frequency horn so that the sound is balanced even at max volume?
Definitely
Can I use 1 Bosé for DJ use in a terrace bar?
Certainly David
Ive heard a saying. " No Highs, No Lows, Must be Bose."
Yes, I've even heard a few established pro's in the audio world echo that term.
They MUST know something 🤔
Bose is almost equal to QSC just QSC has more HF Effect and More punch to LF Effect
An advantage to the Bose I don’t see mentioned is the wide horizontal and narrower vertical dispersion.
As stated in the upload just going over a few main diss & adds, not mentioning everything. The sheer output advantage of the K8 (127dB to S1 109dB), far outweighs the dispertation of S1
Bose F1 and QSC test please thanks
I don't own a f1
QSC louder spl specially on mids, bose on the other hand has much more clarity and definition..
I am Bose F1 owner and Bose fun but in this case QSC is a winner. Sorry
So I thing that little baby Pro 1 still sound amazing for its size.

That Bose sounds really muddy... which seems to be typical of a lot of their stuff.
absolutely ....No clarity in the bose
Is the qsc so much louder than the Bose?
Without a doubt

What pa are you currently using?
Which is better?

I have heard t s1 and liked it very much.pls.give ur opinion sir.
What will you be using it for?
Music sir
Is it for listening at home, practice or studio monitoring, busking, karaoke, background events music, presentations, live performances. Any of those?
I love al speakers I have the S1pro Qfc sounds better but the bise so small bits sounds incredible
Qsc vs l1 compact vs
Can you do yamaha dbr15 and dxr15mkii
Done similar already with (dxr mk1)but not uploaded. I'm sure of the outcome
QSC sounded flat plus it's more expensive
Horrible boomy upright bass on the QSC.
The Bose clearly sounds more realistic in the lower end.
QFC (“Quentucky Fried Chicken”) sounds richer and more “Out there”..!
Played through a Bose L1 last Sat and it was crap.
I gave away my Bose S1 Pro after I got the QSC K12.2 🙂
wow
Bose !!!
Excellent review!........I will definitely buy the QSC to busk with! Sorry Bose!
Get the behringer C210b to busk with
Bose all the way
Not even a proper comparison 😂 that qsc is twice the size
It's not a comparison. It's a subscriber Q&A
❤️
I know qsc winner
QSC WIN!!! HANDS DOWNS

Tu musica no es buena
QSC wins again!
😆
Qsc wins
Qsc for sure. The sound is true and real, not like bose the sound is fake ...
Gotta give you a thumbs up Alberto 👍🏼
BOSE is the winner
