not really worried about team liquid because they did say they would allow PVB to play into their mistakes and capitalize on them, though the execution could've been a lot cleaner i believe they'll clean in up come time to play against flash wolves
If I was a team Liquid fan I would be massively dissapointed. I would say PVB lost that game by contesting 2 dragons they had apsolutely no reason to contest. The one fight PVB won they didn't get much for it and the one they lost, they lost the game for it. If they just realized that TL left all their turrets undefended for the sake an ocean drake and just take the turrets instaid of contesting a teamfight their team is not made for they would have been in a position to easily win this game.
Timothy van Nieuwland to be honest I was 50/50 on TL winning early game, since that was never their main strength in NA. They played into PVB’s aggressive style, yet PVB only took 4 towers over the course of the 3 games. Rather capitalize off their mistakes.
@MadMaxI don't want to sound like a know-it-all but that sort of analyses gets you nowhere. TL plays the same game that they did last year, their macro is not up to snuff. If we want to compare them to the best of the best we have to be critical and in this series they dropped the ball massively. Overprioriticing dragons, Impact still looking weak on carries, TL being unable to play with splitpush pressure and overall again slow, reactive play style that gets you nowhere against what should be a lot better teams in IG, SKT and G2. If I have to compare TL to PVB then I would say they are a good team. But if people want to say that TL is one of the best teams then they have to stand up to further criticism and they fail the eye test completely in that manner.
@@oddfind Well I am not critizicing them for playing slow, if they played slow but intelegently, but they did not. The fundimentals that Fnatic had last year are nowhere to be found in team liquid. I already awnsered somebody else, but a quick summery would sound like this. TL overprioritce dragons (leaving the map wide open for the enemy), they can't play with Impact on a side lane (both because Impact's failure and TL's failure to play with that pressure) and they play like the NA meme. Reactive, hoping for the enemy not to be to good enough early, NARAM with a 5 man squad. A slow playstyle is excaptable if they play it well. But they aren't clean in that regard when compared to similar teams from the other major regions (which everybody likes to compare TL to).
@@user-lk4lx9je4y How do you think TSM or C9 would match up against the other major regions? I know TSM had the big throw by Zven, but I honestly like their style way more than TLs "reactive" style I guess. In a funny sense, TL has become the new TSM (the old roster), just more polished.

Leb bad pick
doublelift inting
Holy shit TL is so bad
How tf did liquid win this game lol, pvb should have won this game. Skt g2 and iG should be able to easily kick liquid's ass very hard
History would say otherwise. TL generally does very well against those teams.
Leblanc is useless looool watch those teamfights and focus on leb pvb's mid sucks
They won because even though PVB is aggressive, they can't capitalize on the early lead and expand it. TL scaled, played a better macro and just won.
@@yoloswagtron6920 is that so
