Oh this is fantastic and just what I was looking for! At 0.55 Now I can see how to undo the electrical connector! That's all I was looking for! I've been searching images for the connector to see the two parts to see where the join line is and how they separate - rather than find out after I've broken it in doing so and then finding a replacement! Fantastic stuff cheers! Ps I was looking to see how to undo it as I'm hoping to get a rubber boot for the outside of it - don't think shink-wrap will do it...
I changes my side lights on my 147 as well a couple of months ago. And weirdly, apart from some precision manual labor because of a lack of small Italian hands, I actually didn't struggle at all haha
@@ItaliaAutos Took me half an hour, but i changed it. Tomorrow i have to change complete tail light, i hope that i will do it right. I'm not mechanic, just regular Alfa fun. :-)
My side light bulb plastic taps have broke off and the one side light bulbs is lose but just will not come out ??? No matter how hard I pull on it with my fingers MOT is next week and these need to be working obviously, any ideas Neil ?
It's very easy.. I took down the front bumper but it's not neccesary.. You have to force a bit with a screwdriver downside then it can be rotated a bit then pulled out. Forcing i mean just a very little until the holder supperts are no longer fitted in the bumper.
Tried to change the dipped light bulb and I managed to get it off but I can't get the spring clamp back on along with the light, any tips without removing the bumper to get to the headlight?
Thanks man, you're a saver, didn't even know how the heck to get to this little bulb.

Tnx for that connection removing trick. Few days ago I broke connection on fuel filter housing.

good stuff. most people find i difficult.
Florens405 did you take the whole headlight out?
@@Mertmertes No, I didn't, just the bulb with the headlight unit still in the car😜
Thanks for the video, I realize now why my lights are not working good, I put the bulb upside down...
Miroslav Andrejic glad to of been able to help.
i did this perhaps 4 times with my GTA with Xenons what a pain. changed to LEDs and had the bulb fail issue
is there any way you can fix the led issue on the gt?
Sometime you get lucky with a good quality bulb.
Oeps pfff have to mine 147 with xenon too🙈
You should put new bulb and turn it on first than look from front side for light and you should plug it in with no trouble
I've changet it without removing anything, just hood open. :-) And that is CAMASUTRA. :-)
Congratulation

Is this the same for the 147 GTA for bulb replacement ? or can it be done without taking the headlight out ?
They all can be done without talking out light.

Easier to fix I'd you take the headlight out.
can you do a vid on changing the front indicator on a GT please

Lucky me, I have an 156 so it is much more easy :)
Haha. .but the 147 dashboard is better 😆
Hi is it the same on a 147? Have my M.O.T and have orderd 2 New gta Headlights have to install my xenon again in it thanks for the Video 👍.
Yeah its the same.

Sami Hamid just practice I’m afraid
Does the bumper need to be removed to remove headlights?
Yes
Why did you cut the wires???
Can I do this without taking the front of the car off?
Not the headlights but bulb yes
@@ItaliaAutos thanks it's the side lights that need replacing again so I'll give it a go getting the bulbs out
The worst side lights position i change them on my one and my arms looks like i been fighting with tiger --sugaar😅
Time to lose some skin on finger ends!
plasters at the ready.
That's such a terrible design. I remember my 156 was similar
Awful but there are worse cars for bulb replacement
How many people would remove the bumper to fit a headlight?
Aaah umm…. Nobody??
Crazy Alfa Romeo maker , there s no simplicity in an alfa romeo , not even to change a side light ! Terribile !
It's not just Alfa. Most car makes are the same.
@@ItaliaAutoswhat is the excitement to change the air filter of the alfa romeo 156 2.0 jts 2004 ?
