After watching this performed live in 2006, btbam became my favorite band. Colors 2 show was amazing. Brought back all the memories!
This song is one of the greatest songs ever fucking written. So goddamn inspiring as a song writer.

Finally I can listen to this without it sounding like it's playing in a tin garbage can next to a blender and tv static. Sounds great!
I think the harshness of the original mix better suits the aggressiveness of this era for them. I get that they hated their guitar tone on this record, and other things I'm sure, but I'd say in this case the original mix better suits the song.
Agreed. The drums overshadow the guitars in this mix/master. Needs a better balance and blending of the instruments. Metal is a pain to mix but, it can be done to where the drums and guitars can both shine.
I feel like this mix/master is kinda bunk. The guitars are masked by the drums big time. It’s like the guitar mids are compressed into oblivion. The over all track as a whole sounds like there’s portions of the midrange and upper mids eq’ed out. I dunno, I dig the original mix/master. Other than that it’s still a great jam.
So far Ive noticed Dusty and Blake are really forward on this mix. It sounds cleaner. Love the all bodies and roboturner mixes buuut this one I'm not so keen on the changes.
