Did you need to change the recoil spring to run the compensator? And did it cause and reliability issues?
No, you don't have to change the spring. It only pushes the gas and sounds downrange; it does nothing to reduce recoil.
Did the Holosun AEMS direct mount?
No, I'm running a AMES lowmount
@AllenTam Just so I'm clear the low mount is needed for it To lock onto the rail ?
@@scottstinger6548 No, you don't need the low mount. The optic out of box can mount direct to the rail, but it will sit hight.
The ames has a cover on both lens, open them up. You'd see better
I know it has lens covers. I ran it on my MPX for a couple of years before I bought the 2nd.
@@AllenTamIn theory, wherever the dot is, even if it is at the top, bottom or side, it should still shoot true.

What is the brand of the compensator that you are using that pushes gases forward.

When you have it on safe does the trigger still pull? I feel like mine isn’t right!
The trigger is not completely locked in place with the safety level engaged; it still has about 1/8" of play.
