If Manny fights for glory he should have remained an amateur. The greatest amateur heavyweight in the history of boxing ,Teofilo Stevenson, remained ab amateur despite being offered many millions to turn pro. That's somebody who fought for glory. But your values would not allow you to see that. You probably don't even know who stevenson was, anyway. Pacquiao fought for money just like most other fighters. Anything else that comes with it is just gravy. It's called prize fighting for a reason.

The decade ranges from start of 2010-to end of 2019. The right way to arrive at the decision is to agree a set of criteria upfront and then apply those criteria. If you do it dispassionately, let’s be real, Manny Pacquiao should be the fighter of the decade, no doubt.
I agree that Andre Ward and Floyd are mentioned. But what sticks in my mind is he only fought 6 years legitimately, until Berto fight. Cornor wasn't a real fight. So taking it off. Floyd only has 6 boxing years. Manny Pacquiao, albeit 4 losses of which two were ridiculous, shouldn't really be considered as losses, is truly a rare phenomenon type of Fighter and he truly deserves another Decade Fighter Award. The decade ranges from start of 2010-to end of 2019. The right way to arrive at the decision is to agree a set of criteria upfront and then apply those criteria. If you do it dispassionately, let’s be real, Manny Pacquiao should be the fighter of the decade, no doubt.
I agree that Andre Ward and Floyd are mentioned. But what sticks in my mind is he only fought 6 years legitimately, until Berto fight. Cornor wasn't a real fight. So taking it off. Floyd only has 6 boxing years.
Manny Pacquiao, albeit 4 losses of which two were ridiculous, shouldn't really be considered as losses, is truly a rare phenomenon type of Fighter and he truly deserves another Decade Fighter Award. Or Ward is the second best competitor.
