They were planning to fade out the 2 strokes. I started riding on a CR500, they a Suzuki 250's, and loved them at that time because of how they turned. When I got that 4 stroke, I was amazed by it's power but it felt heavy for sure. I loved riding it, and started to feel pretty fast on it, but I never got fully used to it and was always missing my 2 strokes. I didn't realize it at the time, but I could have just stayed on a 2 stroke after all. Sometime later, I got to ride a new YYZ250F. It was then that I realized just how good the 4 strokes were getting. That bike felt like the weight of a 250 2 stroke, and it had similar power it seemed. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the vids and share some 2 smoke history.
