On January 12, 2021, CDC announced an Order requiring all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to present the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight.
Just the channel I was looking for. Thanks for all the content. I look forward to visiting Costa Rica in June so I’ll be waiting for all your upcoming videos :)
Hey thanks for a great video! Really helpful We are a family thinking of given up our crazy life in Scotland to find a little more relaxed family lifestyle
Thank you so much for this very helpful info. We have not set up a car rental for our trip in December. Do you have car rental companies that you would recommend? Thank you. All the best😊.
Rich! Thank you so much for this wonderful video and information you provided!! It puts my mind much more at ease about the whole process and that the country has great health care and cleanliness is a priority especially in these times! Appreciate you video. Salads
What if you purchased a home in Costa Rica and enter thereafter. What kind of health insurance will you need? You may stay 90 days, then leave (e.g. Panama) and come back right away. Do you need this insurance to cover all 90 days?
If u purchase real estate or a business for at least 200k, u don’t have to leave every 90 days, u apply for a visa that allows u to stay and u can get the govt health insurance I believe
Rich, I am planning on coming from Canada, to Tamarindo, within the month (been planning for 15 months). Any chance you do any type of consulation? I am looking for a quick call, to ask some final questions. Thanks
I’m thinking to come in June only from Thurs-Sunday, is that good? So I would have to get tested on Friday before leaving on Sunday? Or Thursday (when we arrive)? Since it takes 48-72hrs. A little confused at that part
Thank you for the video!! I am hoping to meet my boyfriend there in April since we have been separated due to the pandemic. Do you know of any testing facilities closer to San Jose? Have a great day! :)
It's a nightmare! On the Health Passport, you can't complete it unless you include proof of full vaccination and travel insurance. Then, when you get to customs you don't have to show any proof of having it. But getting out of the country is worse! You need proof of full vaccination (When you're stopping at Panama), a negative Covid-19 test, and something else I can't remember now. The country is beautiful and worth visiting, but (since the rules are changing constantly) I strongly suggest you do your homework before traveling there. Pura Vida!

It needs to be 48hrs. So that test wouldn’t work.

You need to purchase insurance for the length of your stay, according to your ticket

it is customary to round up, leave a few coins, a couple of dollars. The gesture is always welcome. Often ticos do this
Sounds pretty miserable unless you’re already there.
