      Thanks Vince! I am just switching things up all the time. :) And, your video inspired me. I started to realize that I have this large room (that you see in this video) and I may want to turn it into a home gym. It's connected to my garage. There is a door going into the garage and I may need to totally stop using it and block it off (the bottom) due to mouse issues I had previously. But, then I really want to make this a home gym. It has a great view too!

    Why were you on LDN? For so many years, did all of your symptoms went away?

    • @LifeDIY
      @LifeDIY 10 дней назад

      I was on LDN many, many years ago for Hashimotos, autoimmune thyroid issues. At that time, I changed my diet (gluten free and dairy free) and that plus the LDN got rid of most of my flareups and symptoms. After that I slowly became healthier with my diet, lowering sugar and carbs so I now eat really low carb and very rarely have symptoms or flareups. Years ago the first time I was on LDN, I was able to get off all of my thyroid meds - that medicine really changed my life and helped me. I eventually got off of the LDN and continued to do really well due to changes in my diet. I am still fine now but I need thyroid meds (just a small amount). Recently I started taking LDN again to see if it might help with overall health and energy.

    What exactly is the point or benefits of a rebounder?

    • @stephienotcurry
      @stephienotcurry 20 дней назад +1

      lymph stimulation and cardio. I'm sure there are other benefits but that's what I do mine for

      @LifeDIY 19 дней назад +3

      Sorry I should have briefly mentioned the benefits for anyone who is new to it. I agree with Stephanie. And, it's a great workout option that is actually fun and pretty easy, with great overall results for cardio and building muscle too.

    Exercising with little to no stress on joints is very important for a lot of people. I’ve never used a rebounder, but they look great for that, and for getting your heart rate up.
    Have you kept up a good routine with your rebounder, Holly.?
    My outdoor activities have been minimal of late, due to the nonstop rain here in the last couple of weeks. I should’ve made up for it by getting on my indoor bike, but I sadly failed to muster up enough motivation.🤷‍♂️

    • @LifeDIY
      @LifeDIY 19 дней назад +3

      Hey Joe! That's totally understandable about not getting on the indoor bike. I don't really have a daily routine with this, though I like to use it when I am doing cardio workouts and working my legs. If I'm sitting for too long, I sometimes just get on there and do a little workout (very short). I was doing P90x (very old videos) but this week I followed a RUclips workout and it was amazing. I may end up going that route for a while. I like to change things up. :) Also you are right that exercising with minimal impact is important. I think the rebounder is amazing for that - even this more affordable one. It's so much better than doing the workouts on the ground + it's more fun!

    Bellicon has different bungees that are color coded (from softer to firmer). Maybe you can use Bellicon's cords for this rebounder. I have two sets of different bungees, but currently prefer firmer ones.

    • @LifeDIY
      @LifeDIY 12 дней назад

      Thanks for sharing this! I just learned that recently about Bellicon and their bungee options. But, I am guessing it's expensive to buy sets of bungees? I think that might be possible if the bungees are the same size (length). But, personally I wouldn't want it as I love how firm this Bcan is and I prefer using this one now for my workouts!

  • @LuBarrantes

    Akon sells soft bungees on their site , I could throw those on the bcan right ?

    • @LifeDIY
      @LifeDIY 7 дней назад

      Interesting, I never knew they sold them! I'll try to check later if it would be compatible. I need to get the tool out to remove a bungee on the bcan and see if I can put the Acon one on there. It might work but I am not sure.
