Just wanted to add as a woman that waited until later in life to get married...maybe the dating and trusting part was harder in the beginning of dating...but our marriage has been so sweet and wonderful because we are aware of how blessed we are to have found each other ❤️...little things don't bother to s so much and we are so much more committed to God and His plan because we have lived it alone already. There is definitely something to be said for waiting until you know who you are and who God has made you to be...I am so thankful for all the life and adventure I had before I was married and so very thankful of the love I have found in my life now ❤️...if waiting is God's plan for you...fully embrace and enjoy the wait...what God has next will be worth it and what you are doing now will be happy memories ❤️
I'm happily married but I'm still finding all these episodes absolutely fascinating! Immediately bought both of your book recommendations and I can't wait to read them.
Mandisa truly poured herself out to a dying world during her time with us on this side of heaven. Mandisa gave it all, and finished her race with flying colors!!! Her friend Gabe is also in this video, and they both went home to be with their Creator & Savior this month. God's timetable is not the same as ours. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone---choose Christ Jesus TODAY. He's waiting for you to ask Him for an eternal relationship with your Creator. He loves you!!
The idea that I have to be familiar with and practice all five love languages was so mind blowing! 😮 So much truth to that. Love languages are not just for marriage but for every kind of relationship. Thank you for these amazing panel discussions, Mandisa! Am learning so much! 😁👍
Its really not about your love language. Being with my partner has made me realize that you need to have handle on all of them. Her love language is Words and until she brought it to my attention, I actually never/rarely used words to show love. I've also found that your love language as an adult is usually the language you were starved of as a child. I received a lot of gifts, words, and service but never/rarely did I get a hug/time from my parents. Turns out my languages now are time and touch. Funny how it works. Point is: I don't think your love language is fixed for life. It changes over time so to really love someone, you have to be great at all the languages.
Thanks for pointing out that your love labguage us something you starved on as a child. I think mine are quality time and words of affirmation, which I didn't get as a child. As for gifts, it's not in our culture to give gifts, maybe that's why I dnt care much about it. Physical touch will proly be my love language when I am married but I eas starved of that as a child as well, though scaring from it may also come from fear of attachment. Regarding service, I think I'd love it too bcz I am used to doing things on my own, I could use some help.
Soooo good. In relation to the point of getting married and realizing you did not really know as much as you may have thought you knew, I think this is one of the reasons serious pre marital counseling has become super common.
My love language is gifting and service. I do go for words of affirmation and find myself affirming others, but I am not sure if that is my love language. I am all for quality time as well, but hard times make that difficult. I don't find touch to be my love language due to the lack of relationships and boundries. Thanks for posting this. The content has helped me better understand myself and how other may be. God Bless!
Thanks a lot Mandisa. Lots of love from 🇿🇼. I watched the episodes you did with Anthony O Neal and I really love your episodes as well. Some of the questions asked by women are some that i have had myself. Learning a lot! Btw you are a good host. Well done !
Loving your episodes, I think it's really great content to share. There are so many misconceptions out here on relationships and marriage. The diverse contribution really puts things into perspective. I was brought up with very scanty information (African setting🇰🇪) and now they are like where is the husband 🤦 mingle more 🙄. And let's not forget our African threat 'all your friends will get married and you will be all alone because they would have moved on with their lives' 😪. Wow! Anyway, it's about time people started sharing real talk as Christians. 'how things are on the ground.'
Yesss especially when you hit your mid 20s, people just out of no where start talking to you about marriage , for some of us who are still pursuing our purpose this is so affirming, becoming the woman you're supposed to be is how you will meet the man that is suitable for you. also KE 🇰🇪 in the building
Another great episode. And more wise words to think seriously about. Communication is definitely so important, and something you're reminding me I need to work harder on - listening better and communicating more honestly. I love how, even though this series is based around marriage relationships and dating, there are so many principles that can be applied to all our relationships to help us be more Christ-like. Thank you, ALL of you who are part of this!
Mandisa, thankyou for doing these, we the church have needed these for a long time. I really would like to hear more about what Katie Haskell said about standards as it pertains to the guy being on our level. The scriptures say don't be unequally yoked. What is the true balance or meaning of that? I remember tons of scripture but not everyone has that gift right?
I read The Road Back To You and The Five Love Languages. They are all very good books for one to have healthy and better relationships. These books teach you about yourself as well as the people in your life you hold dear.
Kinda disappointed when I heard Amor had a gf 😩😭 but on a serious note... These episodes are so good and full of great knowledge. Thank you for sharing. Love and blessings from the Caribbean ♥️
I'm really enjoying your series! It makes me laugh and teaches/reminds me of a lot of important truths in the Bible and on communication. I read both books and highly recommend them. Looking forward to more episodes! Thanks!
Thank you for ending the conversations with a scripture reading, and your own commentary! Maybe am old fashioned, but I decided that the word has final say, in as far as I am able and willing
I'm in New Mexico and my friends are big into that personality test. I'm a 1 and don't remember the other "wing" numbers. I'm like you too Mandisa. It does take work and gets better with practice.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.…
Omg 😲 I love your song and somehow I was led to watch this show or series a single woman 👀 I am always willing to learn or gain wisdom of any shows that I can learn /enrich my knowledge about this whole single life count me in is what I say 😂😂 hearing you remind me of myself I'm so quick to jump /speak at times 😂😂however ; being In Jesus university learning all about patience, kindness as you mentioned listen more than you talk 😂😂 not an easy class but will pass it with green flag. Lol for I can do all thing through Christ who strengthen me! Love love these series look forward to more 😍 may God bless
I CALLED A SPORTS RADIO STATION IN MELBOURNE CALLED SEN AND I SPOKE TO DWAYNE RUSSELL DURING THAT CALL I SAID TI DWAYNE "THE AFL SHOULD BRING MANDISA TO AUSTRALIA TO SING AT THE AFL GRAND FUINAL IN 2022
Nooooo mandisa!! Not the enneagram!! 😩😩😩😩 It’s rooted in new age!! guy who wrote them did so through automatic writing!! No no no ..we cannot look like the world!! Please research! It’s counterfeit of the spiritual gifts of prophecy, teaching, organization, mercy, service and exhortation ..please look into the roots before doing a whole episode on this! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for that info... didn't know what Enneagram was so I did look at some information about its origins and feel its not for me . I love the conversations though
I’m convinced there is nothing Mandisa can’t do. Being able to connect with others like she does, through music or conversation, is a true gift.💜 🙏
If you read the whole book, it’s about realizing what others love language is, then operating in that love language so they feel loved and vice versa.
Mandisa is 43???? She looks so young for her age, gorgeous☺️
Ikr! She looks like she’s in her 30s
Ikr! She looks like she’s in her 30s
Doesn't she?? When I'll be 43, I do wanna have her youth, hahahaha

I'm just happy to see Mandisa and Anthony in the same place. Like a part 2 from the convo on his channel.
I’m 40 and have started dating again five years after my divorce. These discussions on dating and relationships has helped me out a lot. Thank you. 😊

Very insightful, I have never thought of it in that way.

Wow!!! “Listen for the purpose of hearing” 🔥🔥
I really enjoyed this. Thank you Mandisa.
I find these videos so intriguing! Love your realness and honesty. Thanks for sharing!

I totally get that there is so much growth that occurs (and should occur) after a divorce.

Mixed tape! Yeeaaahhh!
Love this!!!
I think if unbelieving women and men could see this series, they'd be thirsty for a Christian spouse.
If Mandisa is 43, then I need me a Mandisa.
Great video! Lord help me to listen, not with intent to defend... Amen
I loved the session. I always wonder as an Enneagram 7 do i really need to be with an Enneagram 1 partner.
I CALLED A SPORTS RADIO STATION IN MELBOURNE CALLED SEN AND I SPOKE TO DWAYNE RUSSELL DURING THAT CALL I SAID TI DWAYNE "THE AFL SHOULD BRING MANDISA TO AUSTRALIA TO SING AT THE AFL GRAND FUINAL IN 2022
The enneagram is like a horoscope for Christians--FLEE from evil!!
👍🏿
What's the 📖 about love language?
It is a book that helps you understand how you receive love and how you can best love those around you
AO is so hard lol 🤦🏽♀️

Oh whoaaa, thanks for that truth bomb. I had no idea! Yikes.
Thanks for that info... didn't know what Enneagram was so I did look at some information about its origins and feel its not for me . I love the conversations though
Exactly, please be careful with it. We have the bible and the Holy Spirit, we don't need anything else
That's right..it seems like believing in horoscopes
Hurts.Sorry can't hold on to your words.
Please stay away from the Enneagram.
