Ambitious piece and as a proud owner of Mac's, I gotta say that although the risk of yellowing is there, clear resin really is the way to go for any truly awesome Iceman.

Hey Art thank you for doing this unboxing and review of this custom Iceman. I was going to get one but was not impressed with the base. The Iceman sculpt is done really well and I love the pose and look of the character. Unfortunately the base really didn't impress me very much. What is the whole thing with Thor's hammer in the ice? That makes no sense to me at all and the Dragon head could have been done slicker and not so overbearing or just do without it. They could have just had the ice just end right to the point where it just touches the fingers. Well regardless it is nicely done and it does catches the eye very well. Congratulations on getting it and thank you for sharing it with us.
@@zosimo85 yes I know but sometimes things don't translate well when you go from one medium to another. Then it's up to the sculptor to make the necessary changes to get it to balance well.
@@cubannel12it's all subjective but I was just noting why mjolnir is in the ice, as you didn't seem to know from your comment where you said it makes nonsense.

agree. I wouldnt want painted resin for Iceman either. I just hope it wont turn yellow on me anytime soon.

Nah he has UV blocking treatment on them I believe
I have tints and blinds so nothing has faded here.

Thanks man. Actually the reason i pre-ordered it is because of the ice dragon 😅 i think it's unique and i love translucent resin.
