Dear Sister Lauren; these are very thoughtful and inspiring historical perspectives. I throughly enjoy your artistic sense and comprehensive views. Visiting these historic places and then discussion about those highlights of excellence like Ahsan, Tawqa, Ikhlas, education, law, justice, humility, Towheed, istaqamat, having very high goals of life, meaningful life, is very interesting and refreshing. May Allah Swt bless you and family and keep you steadfast on His path. Plz keep spreading His message. We enjoy your video too much. Plz keep moving on Sister Lauren……
mashaa Allah...video documentary yang luar biasa...semoga Allah selalu memberikan kemudahan, keberkahan buat sister lauren...semangat mensyiarkan Islam..Allahu Akbar
I'm touched sister Lauren. Barakallahufeek for sharing the legacies of Islam that even Muslims ourselves are not aware of. This is not only a valuable lesson for non-Muslims, but really it is especially for the Muslims ourselves. Nationalism, globalisation, hedonism, secularism and what have you, these values have separated, essentially ripped apart the identity of Muslims for our generations. We are no longer "Muslims" first, but nationality first, or ethnicity first, or career first, or gender first, or sexual orientation first, etc. Subhanallah. We are Muslims first, and this is our history. Thank you for shedding light on our history in such a beautiful way. I hope your work gets more coverage to the masses.
Selamun Aleykum Sister Lauren, GREAT JOB in representing the Beauties of Islamic Heritage. I am so glad I saw you in MCA San Jose, Silicon Valley California years ago. I prayed that people like you should be representing Islam and I am so glad you do that. MASALLAH. Please keep it up what you are doing and know that we are behind you. If you come back to Istanbul, please let us know. May ALLAH ease your endeavors. Thanks
Thank you sister, it is one time life offer to all of us and you are one of them that use your life to spread Allah’s love and all misunderstanding about Islam. May Allah be with you and bless you with success!
﴿ تِلۡكَ أُمَّةٞ قَدۡ خَلَتۡۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبۡتُمۡۖ وَلَا تُسۡـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾ [ البقرة: 134] That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do. Saurah A Baqara Aya 134 All appreciation and respect to our sister, Mrs. Laurel, who is considered a book that carries history about Islam, preaching, and peace Knowing the rights of others, etc. Mashallah Tabarak Allah May Allah bless you Ameen
Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa baraakatuh, Alhamdulillah, I cannot explain to you, how today, of all days, with so much happening in Palestine, and with all that goes on surrounding what is happening this is like a pool of sakinah, and so very very needed by me, this is a reminder of what was, and what is to come. Jazaki Allahu khayran wa barak Allahu feeke. May Allah grant you, and the entire ummah His mercy, love, sustenance & abundance in this life and the ahquirah, ameen.
Alhamdulillah..MasyaAllah Sister, keep up the good works to enlighten all the people, Muslim and non-Muslim on the beauty of Islam and subsequent, the culture...Salam from Malaysia
I just found you yesterday and start binge watch your content. Masha Allah this is so much better than genZ vlog because you present it professionally with so much dept of informations. Jazakillah and Barakallah sister, may your work will get more eyes and teaching more the muslim the beauty of their religion and non muslim how beautiful peacefull and just (Real) muslim leader are 🙏🏼
I love your video .. so interesting !! I got addicted to learning about Turkish history and Islamic art and tiles etc ..while watching the magnificent century series .. I know it’s drama but still an amazing storyline
I really enjoyed this, thank you Lauren, well made and engaging, what a great story teller your are masha Allah, and the subject matter is so inspiring ❤️
ALLAH said that HE will bring honest people and remove dishonest, and it is clear now, where European like you are the honest side, and Arab are the other side. ALLAH BLESS YOU
Suleiman the Magnificent asks Zenbilli Ali Efendi (Sheikh ul-Islam) about the issue when ants surround the fruit trees with the following couplet: If it shakes the trees, if the ant Is there any harm when you break the ant? The answer of Zenbilli Ali Efendi is as follows: When I arrive at the court of God tomorrow The ant takes your right from Suleiman.
Assalamu alaikum very informative content, I have a doubt in your video you show us blue mosque and sulemaniye mosque is what I feel, can you please clear my doubt Jazakh Allah
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته sister, yes, I have mentioned that for you before I am been following you ever since you got reverted, me, and I will hold you strong and better in this religion all the way to the end and guide as much as can be of a good hearted, people to Islam, the buildings are very niceand I’ve been to it. Yes, the architecture is very nice. Yes, the art is very nice. All of what you mentioned are very nice and great but that all goes one-man which he is one of God slaves, but the greatest thing about this mosque or any other mosque and all the mosque in the world are equally in it , no matter what it is built out of, even if it’s built out of pieces of wood , any place around the world and what you have to know sister that’s, this is the house of God and because it is the house that Islamic you find that Islamic religion is the only religion on earth that the place of the worship is opened entirely for everybody there is no hidden corners, or hidden places, there’s no secret places it is open entirely for everybody, there is no any, if, and butts.even for the Imam, or the scholars. Everybody is equal inside this house , there is only very small space in the front where the a Imam can stand to lead the prayer. Everything is open to everybody, and that’s the greatest beauty of this mosque, or any mosque in the world, it is just you walking in and going anywhere in that building, tell me where anywhere even a very small, praying please that does not have a secret or hidden place, or a private place for the religious man, as if he has a contract with God , about that were Allah guide line and beauty makes the worshiping place versus Islam with every religion in the world, other religions just have so much secrets inside them, as if God of the religious men are different than the God of the people. You see, this is the greatest beauty of worship places for Muslims , and they all have it no matter how rich and magnificent or poor and simple, and that is in my opinion, the greatest and the most beautiful, and the most challenging point that all Muslims miss looking at it, but I do expect the revert to notice it. Yes, it is good to talk about all of what you mentioned because it has the effect of magic on the eyes of people because their eyes are busy with materialistic stuff, but I think we have to bring out the greatest beauty which speaks directly to the soul, and it is so much given to all the Muslims that they take it for granted, and they don’t even notice it.
Thank you for showing us the islamic history.one thing my mind baffled is why did they have concubine and why did they not marry in the islamic way how is that right in islam, I really want to educate my self please someone teach me.
Dear Sister Lauren, I truly believe that Sultan Suleiman's actions started the stagnation of the Ottoman Empire and eventually led to its dissolution. Sultan Suleiman killed 2 of his sons, the 2 most capable heirs - Mustapha and Bayezid. He also executed Ibrahim Pasha. He let Hurrem Sultan interfere in state matters, a tradition that brought turbulence to future Ottoman Sultans.
Encouraging Slavery and no respect for human life. It was narrated from Ayas bin Salamah bin Akwa’ that his father said:“We attacked, Hawazin at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with Aby Bakr. He awarded me a slave girl from Banu Fazarah, among the most beautiful of the Arabs, who was wearing an animal skin of hers. I did not divest her of her clothing until I reached Al-Madinah. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) met me in the marketplace, and said: ‘By Allah, give her to me.’ So I gave her to him, and he sent her as a ransom for some of the Muslim prisoners who were in Makkah.” (Grade: Sahih (Darussalam), Sunan Ibn Majah 2846, Bk.24, H.94). It was narrated that Jabir said: “A slave came and gave his pledge to the Prophet (ﷺ), pledging to emigrate, and the Prophet (ﷺ) did not realize that he was a slave. Then his master came looking for him, and the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Sell him to me,’ and he brought him in exchange for two black slaves. Then after that he did not accept the pledge from anyone until he had asked whether he was a slave.” (Grade: Sahih (Darussalam), Sunan Ibn Majah 2869, Bk. 24, H. 117)
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Listen and obey, even if the one appointed over you is an Ethiopian slave with a head like a raisin.” (Grade Sahih (Darussalam), Sunan Ibn Majah 2860, Bk. 24, H. 108).
