DJ Cummerbund is the Bob Ross of remix music. His canvas is RUclips, his paints are other people's songs, and Macho Man Randy Savage is his happy little tree.
Wes Borland knew, but he decided to let Fred Durst find out for himself on his own terms. It is currently 2023. According to all available sources of info, Mr. Durst still has yet to find out
To call your work mashups is a disservice. Most other mashups take two songs and jam them together, usually with fair to poor results, there are some exceptions. But you manage to take several songs combine them and add your own touches like those excellent mock backup harmonies ( The Toto and the Alice in Chains/X-Tina ones are my favorites!) And create sonic masterpieces that stand up as works on their own! Excelcior! (Just a personal aside here but I used to go to karaoke night and sing Tool songs in a mock Michael McDonald voice and I vicariously live out my dream via your music!)
I love when this kind of mate upload this kind of medleys, the another one that I meet (a long ago), was this one, but I must give to Cummerbund that he always try to put more sound to the mix, and I respect that; I salute broher. \m/, ruclips.net/video/d91MoLUoBEw/видео.html
Usually I open a DJ Cummerbund track thinking "this shouldn't work". This one clicked on with morbid curiosity - no idea what the hell to expect. Just wow. Then at 3:20 breaks into a full on feel of sweaty, crazy, curry-fuelled mosh pit glory. And I'm spent! You legend!
I'm never sure if I should thank you, or not. On one hand you give me a baller new song, but on the other I can never listen to the old songs again because of how inferior they are to this masterpiece.
When mashups first came out in the early RUclips era it was easy to get bored with them. Staying Alive vocals over Back in Black music was interesting for about a minute. This mix is so far from that it deserves it's own category.
I beg any God that exist to bring in some Hindu growling stuff, so people would write this type of music. So spiritual, yet so dark and deep and beautiful like a black hole in cosmos. I never thought darkness can be so beautiful and powerful. You, Sire, are a pure genius. Every time I find something new and exciting about your music. THANK YOU!
Look I'm commented on this one before already. But I keep coming back to this one as probably the DJ's greatest accomplishment. If you put this on with a tremendous sound system, it's mind-blowing it really is mind-blowing. DJ this is your greatest accomplishment. If you do want better than this it might kill me
Why haven't I found you sooner?!? Your mixes are the shit!! I swear I've never seen so much of my music taste all combined together like this I love it!!!!
One masterpiece after the other, why haven’t you gotten a Nobel Peace Prize yet? These mashups are gifts to humanity that we are not ready for. These are always perfection
For those wondering about the Indian dude with the harsh vocals in the 2nd half - they're from Bloodywood. They call their genre Punjabi street metal and they're on RUclips, check them out!
🤩🤩 Doesn't make sense how youtube never recommended this channel to me before considering how many times I've listened to Vidya Vox, Lobsterdust and Limp Bizkit.
Once the well of artistical ingenuity has run dry, we will see a new era of human entertainment from a select few that will remake it in an unexplainable new image. It is very difficult to predict what this will be like, but I predict, and hope, our world won't see the last of DJ Cummerbund until a long time from now.
No problem sir. If you ever do decide and are able to come back to do your thing, I'm sure we'll be glad to see you again :) I also sent you a PM on Patreon for the poster if that's still available for the membership? Thanks!
My God! Just when I think DJ Cummerbund can't surprise me with his genius I come across something new. The man is a phenomenon. I am such a fan boi now,
Oh god this is amazing! Back in high school we did a tap dance routine to the Panjabi MC song in the background, but today I'm all nu-metally and growly lolol... Feels like you just rolled the past 15yrs of my life into a ball of insanity and threw it at my face!! XD
DJ Cummerbund is the Bob Ross of remix music. His canvas is RUclips, his paints are other people's songs, and Macho Man Randy Savage is his happy little tree.
Word!!!
Facts🎉
The problem with Limp Bizkit was not enough Panjabi MC, who knew
Wes Borland knew, but he decided to let Fred Durst find out for himself on his own terms.
It is currently 2023. According to all available sources of info, Mr. Durst still has yet to find out
the best worst part of this is the syncopated “oooh wah ah ah ah”s that dj cummerbund swings to match the bollywood beat. i can’t stop giggling.
The attention to detail is second to none in pretty much all his mashups.

Yet another new incredible music genre is born; passive aggressive rock!
For sure
This should be played at high volume, preferably in a residential area
All day, every day.
On it. 🤘🏻
The spiritual successor to Annoyed Grunt by Neil Cicierega
I too choose to believe all great mashups exist in a shared universe
Okay but IS NO ONE GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW HE COVERED THE "IN THE END" INSTRUMENTAL ON SITAR?!
PhonicBoom/ CosmicLatte i mean it seems like we’re talking about it
Timestamp?
or how he got the Sardi Boys to sound like metal ?
Sadpants McGee too lazy to time stamp, but it’s in the background during the “all about the he said she said bullshit” chorus

How do you come up with this Cummerbund? Another terrible masterpiece.
I used my brain thoughts
I thought it was a perfect fit knowing Mundian to Bach Ke basically translates to Beware Chads
What store sells such pretty colored brain thoughts? Take my money!
He writes down a hundred random unrelated songs on a poster board and then throws two darts.

add neil cic to that list
AND brought back enjoyable videos you want to watch. Some of us dinosaurs remember the dawn of MTV.
This is the most aggressively early-2000s thing I've ever heard, and I'm loving it.
thanks for giving bloodywood their credit. they're a great band that's not appreciated enough.
I agree
DJ Cummerbund, mad genius that he is, is one of the final key pins keeping our reality from slipping into the darkest possible timeline.
Start worrying if he mentions taking time off for a trip to Hobb’s End.
I wonder what's happening in those other timelines, for the last time THERE ARE NO OTHER TIMELINES
There's like a whole Cummberbund: Metal saga where he fights evil versions of himself that make awful music
Bumping this in the parking lot of the Indian Restaurant I frequent.
The looks....amazing.
Bravo on another banger, DJ
I hope my neighbors have the most confused look on their faces hearing this through the wall

"No one can mix metal and punjabi music and make it work"
Randy Savage: Hold my Elizabeth
Bloodywood can.
Numetal isn't real Metal though
I've done it with some shitty Rave Dj's. This is done properly.

Bloodywood is a punjabi metal band thats actually pretty solid! Highly recommend!

Bill McClintock mashes up Spice Girls and Slipknot, and now DJ Cummerbund mashes up Limp Bizkit and Bollywood... What a week!
Bloodywood beat them to this years ago, but was nice to see them in this video.
Oooh, Bloodywood! LOVE them! Twaddle!!
They rule!

PantsFeet is way better than this
Finally a song for all cultures
2 years later and this is still blowing me away like it's brand new. Masterpiece mashup.
Thank you for including Bloodywood in this. You helped me discover them and I love it!
This is one of those combinations that seem insane in theory, but in practice they’re perfect for each other. Like... cereal and jelly, I suppose.
ShadoWaluigi is that actually thing? How long have I been missing out if so
I'm sorry.. cereal and WHAT?
Excuse me
Go to hell with those thoughts
Cereal and jelly! Are you mad!?
Jolly good stuff what!
The touch of adding the In The End piano with the traditional instruments was genius.
It's like if every shitty nu-metal band got blended and poured over a bollywood DVD.
Linkin park isn't bad, but I get what you mean.
Horrifying. moody. achingly potent. Sacrilegious. I love it.
When mashups first came out in the early RUclips era it was easy to get bored with them. Staying Alive vocals over Back in Black music was interesting for about a minute. This mix is so far from that it deserves it's own category.
I say this with 100% sincerity and respect: If there was ever one song that could define Surrey BC Canada culture it is this. And that is awesome!
Brampton, Onterrible has been playing this at the beginning of all city council meetings.
I like that you included Disturbed's sweet domestic abuse solo
It really brings out the harmony in it
I forever marvel at your ability to make gold from garbage.
I think I have neck problems now...
Not if you’ve been headboppin all your life 😎
Now THIS has the right amount of spice.
Badass, but I was waiting for the scatting from Freak on a Leash somewhere. :-)
Congrats, you've made the musical equivalent of a fever dream.

It took six other bands and Macho Man to make Limp Bizkit sound actually badass. They said it couldn't be done. They obviously never met you.
