      Hi is there anyway to have a Template for Maschine Studio?

    • @just.call.me.nolan.twitch
      @just.call.me.nolan.twitch 5 лет назад +1

      @@RobbyRhythmz - You can essentially use the project Enferno gives you in the description, but you'll have to adjust your midi settings with Controller Editor so that your Studio lines up with the MK3 he uses.

      The dopest most effective technique was mapping the chain selector so i can quickly jump to a different drum kit/finger drum set on the fly. Wanted to ask if you had any videos already on finger drumming triplet hats like you did @23:35 The way you do it seems natural and not robotic like do you mess with the velocity on the hats as well? much love i wished i found your channel much earlier in this production game =)

    Super Helpful!!! I really liked how to set up the instrument rack with different drum kits. I didnt quite understand the different channel routing part at the end with the acoustic drum rack. I would love more Maschine 3 tutorials, you have a great teaching style!

    I'm using the Toraiz sp16 and still found this vid insightful. Key affirmation for me was pad placement being the same in each kit which helps with muscle memory and including an acoustic kit as one of my scenes a.k.a. drumrack in Ableton speak. Thanks Enferno and the MixMajor logo looks dope!

      That’s great. So you use Toraiz as a midi controller? Cool. I’ll do a review and some videos with the Toraiz as well in future videos.

    This is gold. If you can show another video incorporating the mk3's step sequencer and lock function in conjunction with finger drumming all in Ableton for live purposes, that would be terrific

    Hey great tutorial your knowledge and teaching is incredible. I'm waiting on my MK2 to be delivered so I can use your mapping with Ableton. Right now Im using my Mikro and routing Maschine software to my S8 deck B live input via 1/8" to RCA using the Macbook built in soundcard. The sound coming thru the live input is terrible. Bass is super muddy and cutting out. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? is there something in preferences that Im overlooking? Some of my DJ friends are telling my to buy an external soundcard. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    This is the most intuitive step by step tutorial ever. Thank you so much for this and even including your template which is a huge help. Appreciate your video and you definitely inspired me to expand in my live sets. You briefly mentioned having cue points on Maschine that connects to Serato, how to you midi map those cue points? Much respect

    this is truly awsome; really well explained and the best start I found so far! Many thanks, too bad I can only hit "like" once ;-)
    I was looking for valuable and fit for my purpose instructions for some time now - unsuccessful until I found this vid! I actually own Maschine Mk3 and Live 10 and would like to use Maschine as Midi-Controller and ideally also sounds coming from "both words" (being NI and Ableton). I am rebelling to by a Push (or Force) just to do what Maschine should be able to do, at least the basics... With your help I managed to get as far as never before!
    Some things are different here though: Per default my Maschine would trigger notes in a different octave (let's say a base on C-1 where as all Live-Sound/Racks have samples mapped to C1). With your tips (chain select) I could map it now within Live - but is that they correct way - or should I rather change the Maschine template for once? (via the NI controller app). I think that's a general question I have: Use the Maschine Controller App or the Midi-Learning feature in Live? (e.g. my transport does not work per default... Would I now map this in the controller app or vie the midi learn in Live?)
    Secondly, I am on Win, and I do not have these Maschine Virtual In and Outputs to select in Live. So, I do not understand how I could map Midi-Channels of the Groups (outside the standalone mode of Maschine) - Where did you set these groups to fire on the midi channels you want to? (you don't seem to run the Maschine software in the background?)
    Hope you find the time to answer - stay safe and thanks!

      DJ2MEAN You’ll be able to set use Maschine studio with my Ableton project BUT you’ll have to manually create the midi mappings in the Controller Editor software. I had to do this myself when transitioning to MK3 from MK2

      My template won't work for a Mikro, but you can follow along with the tutorial and the process will work with a Mikro. You'd just need to build it yourself.

    Does the note repeat work with the maschine say for like hi hats

    • @djenferno
      @djenferno  4 года назад

      In MIDI mode you don't get the native note repeat functionality of the Maschine software. You'd have to use an arpeggiator effect on your hats to achieve a similar effect.
