I can't remember if I saw Alien or not at the movie house when it came out, but I definitely remember seeing Aliens at the movie house: the audience cheered when the xenomorph chomped down on Burke (Paul Reiser). I was listening and heard "They juat destroyed the Ishimura," and I'm like "Shit, that's from Dead Space!" Great great game and rightly a classic. Then I look at the complete RUclips title of this that was something like "The Complete Cycle of Paul Kennedy" - (I'm on a cell phone and can't look back at the title) - and I'm like "Holy Crap - this Alien franchise has just spawned so much stuff - it's wild." And I saw the start of it all. Good job putting this together. Great stuff! 👍

You did a fantastic job making this video. The sound & voice acting was perfect. I loved the order you put them in too. 44:00 I wouldn't have went to get someone who hates me. I would have just went to court. It's not my fault he mug me. 1:49:00 those people lost their minds. I'm religious & all.. but I would have got the heck out there dude. What they did make no sense. It would be different if their Goddess gave them miracles or magical powers. I loved the last story the must. The one with the androids. There's no way I would've trusted the same people who stabbed me in the back before. Spoiler ⬇️...... The story came full circle with the black queen being born.
This was a blast. Nice job producing the audio. However, the stories featured here was hit and miss IMHO. Huge Alien fan though. Last comic i read that I liked from Aliens was Dead Orbit. Back in 2017. Hope you guys can do that one in the furture. Amazing art and very good horror capturing the tone of the first movie. Very simple story, but the book is amazing at capturing the Alien horror feel from the first movie in comicbook form.

Absolutely. Chapter 4 is in the editing recording process now. Ran into a few set backs but its coming for sure. Plus older ones will be scattered here and there.

That would've been a nice throwback, but this takes place around the same time as Aliens, so def more advanced on the suits. Plus the Nostromo's suits were basically construction/worker types, and were prob old for then too. From what we know, at least 57 years had passed since Alien. But, still would've been nice to see it.
No. You must've missed the part where Cutter was her nephew. Drake i think the same. Related, but not their kids. And maybe, Ripley had a kid. So did Dallas, Burke...so on.
Do you guys also find it confusing that this story features the USS Francis Marion (including Ash) and that the book Out of the Shadows features the DSMO Marion (which also includes Ash)? Or are they related in any way?
Some of it yes, most of it after Ripleys run. In the last 2 chapters we even see Weyland Yutani on the outs and the U.A. (United Americas) taking over. It gets a little confusing w this edit, cuz I did them chronologically according to story time line and not actual comic release order. Hope this was helpful.

They're both pretty lame, and both have the annoying habit of reusing catchphrases from Aliens, and further riding the originals by connecting "relatives" of the movie characters. Fan fiction level story telling. Dark Horse did have a few gems though, I'd say the alternative vision for Ripley and company had some high points.
Some survived. Danny and Bishop made it, Jane and her crew made it. Eli and Freya were able to save the kid. Renegade XM unfortunately not a single survivor, but they were not being very smart.
Ahh, there's no voice acting that's ever more so distinct, yet laughable as a hard Canadian Cholo. Don't forget the shots of Tequila and Crown Royale, ya!

@@anthonylopresti3078 Ive read it, but again, crrative arts ARE subjective. Its an option. I think Labyrinth was a great story, but i also thought some of these were too. We can have the old AND the new. Its not like the books erased out of existence the second Marvel made some.
They actually re-released the old Omnibus. Im just not that big on 80s comics. They got weird. Not good weird. Lol. The later Dark Horse gn were fantastic tho, and will be covered on the channel, eventually. This is my bread and butter for now tho.
