Please don't tell me you think it's real
@@MinuteManClips it’s very much real. Don’t you see the footage .an alien civilization probably sent that meteor
I like the fact that the sound moves faster than the shock wave... Nice physics mate
sound waves are faster than the shockwaves...which is why you heard it before it got to you
although this is a lovely production, for argument's sake, one could presume that the sound of Rumbling you here before the "Shockwave" hits the beach, that it would be the delayed sound, from quite a few seconds before, as the meteor is entering the atmosphere and Above the Clouds . but that presumption could be wrong, so I doubt it, too.
Shockwaves travel through the ground faster than sound travels through the air. It's possible the earth might rumble a bit before the sound hits.
Shockwave travels through liquid, gas or water upon impact or combustion... sound moves through air ; so the air vs water and land changes speed
The sound of impact straight to the camera makes sense to beat the shock absorbed in water then land ... the shock wave in the air vs sound I'd think the Shockwave would push faster than the set speed of sound (volume/decibels/hz don't affect speed where the amplitude or size of an impact or boom doze increase its speed
So its ,is there enough weight and speed, depth and distance and more to be more energy than 750mph or not
@@jamesw71 Shock waves are faster than sound waves. You heard it first because it was edited in too early.

One of the the most awesome sights I've seen was with my Wife in 1995 (?) late at night when we we walking in our campsite in Bishop, CA. when a meteor came into the atmosphere and 'skipped" along the fringes for maybe fifteen or twenty seconds until it broke free of the Earth's gravity and continued on, into space still glowing until it was completely out of sight.
There were several dozen other campers who were also privileged to have witnessed this spectacular event with us, and this remains as absolutely one of the more beautiful things I've ever seen.
That sounds awe inspiring.

For a meteor to be moving that slow to the eye, it must be a hundred miles away. Based on how fast the shock wave came, it was within a mile or two. This is what stood out the most to me.
and then the shockwave speed went from 100 miles per second to 50 miles per hour in an instant.
The force should also be much much heavy than that he only flinched.

So talented man... except the shockwaves are going way too fast to reach us lol
The shockwave moves too fast but other than that, pretty damn good!
You're absolutely right, the visual is great but the shockwave speed is jarring.
The ocean's horizon can be seen at 3 miles out and it looks like the meteor landed in front of the horizon.. so if a meteor would have struck at that distance, the shockwave would reach the camera within 14.2 seconds. Since it reached in just over 2 seconds, we can assume meteor landed .4 miles away. At that distance, I'm sure nobody would have been able to upload a video given that they'd have been just outside the point of impact, aka the place where everything got instantly vaporized.
The explosion and shockwave moves faster the actual meteor lol
Dinasours been real quiet after this
that edit is actually pretty good, only problems being
-Meteors are way faster
-shockwaves being way slower

Great animation! That looked real. The only thing I saw that was really a problem was that after the shockwave hit the beach the sand immediately returned to being exactly the same, footprints and all. If it had been hit by a shockwave it would have been smoothed out and pushed back.
' guess Ur right!
EVERYTHING RETURNED RITE BACK IN PLACE IS BECAUSE IT WAS A SMALLER METEOR,,THE HIT CAUSED ONLY A VIBRATION,,AN A VIBRATION FROM AT HIT LIKE THAT TRAVELS LIKE LIGHT ONCE IT GOES BY IN THAT SPEED EVERYTHING FALLS RIGHT BACK IN PLACE,,LIKE HAVING A TRIMMER!
Tha sand did move tho ,, towards the camera but as the vibration broke down the sand dropped quickly instead of it hitting it
WATCH THE WATER AT THE FRONT OF THE BOULD ROCK FRONT ITS A LIL CLOSER TO THE HIT SO IT SMASHED THE WATER UP AGAINST IT HARDER THAN NORMAL TO MANY REACTION POINTS FOR IT TO B FAKE,

hate burst your bubble but in the video editing world we already have everything Hollywood has
only thing we don't have is the massive budgets

Very nice work. The dog bark and the people talking really makes it believable.
The Problem of CGI is that it is sometime to precise and has a different framerate to the ground video.
You forgot to add the very bright light that real meteors emit. Really good though
And also the sirens
That would have caused the biggest hurricane yet and we would have heard about it

I agree... The dog barking makes it realistic
Nice work. Although I think sound and shockwave should have been a little more delayed to be more realistic.
And with a sharper crack like a bullets or any other objects that break the sound barrier. It's actually why a towel or whip pop like they do. The tip for that very miro measure of time exceeds Mach.
Shockwaves travel at the speed of sound - or faster. Look it up.
@@Capt-Intrepid I did not say they didn't. I am saying the visual and shockwave (which is also the sound) delay is not enough in this video. The distance from the explosion seems far enough that it would take a few more seconds for the sound/shockwave to make it to the viewer.
Every time it’s like some bad animation but ngl this one is really good
Thank you very much!
