@@alirodmd very similar to what you described! The nurses and midwives were incredible! They checked baby’s heart rate and my contractions just as you described. My labor progressed VERY quickly (I was shocked because this is my first child) so there was no time for them to check my dilation past 4cm

My water broke and I got to the hospital within an hour or so after breaking and I had umbilical cord prolapse... it was so scary and painful. Baby was born unresponsive, and had to stay in the NICU for a week but Thank God she’s doing great now and so far she’s a healthy 3.5 month old baby.

Crazy!! I’m so so glad you and baby are both doing well! Cord prolapse is so scary!

You're amazing! I LOVE how much I learn from each of your videos! Could you please make a video on "ALL ABOUT" scheduled C-sections? I had an (unplanned) C-section 11 years ago with my first son after being in labor for 18hours. This time around it seems like I will have a scheduled c-section. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

My labors were long and rough. #1 was 91 hours of labor (no meds, 3rd degree tear), #2 was 68 hours (stillbirth, followed by surgery right after birth due to a hemorrhage. Horrific experience all around), #3 was 28 hours (epidural❤) , #4 was 24 hours ending with a c-section when I had a severe placental abruption during labor, and #5 & #6 (twins) was only 18 hours, but a failed VBAC, ending with a c-section because one twin pushed the other sideways 18 hours into labor.

Thank you so much for the information. I follow you on Tiktok, Instagram, and here. Your videos are super helpful. Especially this one. I'm 36 weeks and 3 days. Second pregnancy. But has been 6 years since my first delivery. You have put my mind at ease by preparing and reminding me of the process. Again, thank you. You are wonderful and I look forward to more videos of yours. ❤🙏

How do you feel about natural births, unmediated and a lotus birth specifically?

If that’s what the patient desires and she knows the risks and benefits then that’s her choice!

Could you do a video on what to expect on a second c-section? I was put to sleep for my first one so I’m wondering if they will do that again?
