I love this tutorial, thank you so much. The only confusion I had is that you referenced that your pins are displaying more in Pinterest Approved Scheduler and want to rank higher for Pinterest Scheduler, but you created your pin with title Pinterest Approved Scheduler. Shouldn't you have created with title Pinterest Scheduler instead?
A good video! You made me realize I hadn't filled in a few areas on my Pinterest account. I made those changes so hopefully I'll see some improvements in my statistics (fingers crossed).
Great Info! I have two questions: 1. What about board sections? Should I use those to break down broad topics, or break the topics down on separate boards entirely? 2. Should you always create pins directly through Pinterest, or does it work to go through Canva if the design is there anyway? Thanks for the insights! Really Helpful!
Really great questions: 1. You don’t need to use sections. If you’re going to use a section I’d honestly rather you use a board instead. For example, you’re pinning about couches and you make a board for couches. You then make a section for cloth and a section for leather. I’d rather you have 2 boards: cloth couches and leather couches. 2. You can schedule right through Canva. The only situation where I’d prefer Pinterest is for video. Videos tend to get compressed by schedulers when published to Pinterest
Liked your suggestion to at hashtags but don't see this option. Is that no longer used? btw... congratulations on your success here on RUclips! You are definitely on the leaderboard for those searching for training for pinterest!
Hi Heather! Great video, as always :) Thank you for that! However, I don't seem to be able to add tags to my pins. Whatever I do, they just don't add. I am a beginner to the Pinterest business, and so I wonder if I am doing something wrong or if this is a common issue?
When you tag pins in the builder nothing comes up? Sometimes I do have this happen and I have to go letter by letter. So vans won’t come up but va will pop up vans.
How long does it take for Pinterest to index your pins? I've had a love/hate relationship with Pinterest for decades, and my biggest frustration is doing seo on my pins, posting them, and then...nothing. Not only are my pins, boards, and account, not showing, they're being beat out by other pins that don't even have the keyword listed.
It's better you don't use sections unless the board is in private. Make a separate board instead since boards are also searchable and sections are not 🙂
So is the board cover a 2nd pin? Or it overlaps on the nest pin? I think I’m gonna have to watch this tutorial again! Thanks so much for the tactical info. I’ve never even heard of board covers!
So helpful! Question about 'related tags' strategy--should I include only words that are About My Pin or can I also include tags that are About The Audience that I think might be looking for Something Else but also might be interested in my Pin because it is Adjacent. (Or is this properly done only in Advertising?). For example, If my pin is about Party Dresses for Girls is it helpful to also tag it with Birthday Party Decor, Birthday Party Themes, etc. I don't want to confuse the algorithm but hope to get the broadest audience. Thank you!
I usually include things that are somewhat adjacent or audience related. For example, for a pin about blogging I’ll include social media or email marketing.

*I’ve been trying to figure out Pinterest SEO, and your step-by-step approach made it so much easier.*
Finally someone explain from the beginning😊
Yay welcome! 🙏
So should I write all of the 10 tags making a pin or au can just mention s few ones? Will it have any different in SEO?

HEATHER YOU ARE THE BEST MENTOR I HAVE CAME ACROSS SO FAR IN MY FREELANCE CAREER.

LOVE the slides! Thank you! ❤🎉
I'm trying out a new delivery method! I didn't include them in next weeks video but I will see how I can incorporate them more.
This was life changing for my Pinterest account! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Yay I’m so glad to hear this!

@@HeatherFarris Thank you for your reply! I am learning so much from you and your videos, so thanks for all the great content!
For text overlay, should it be done in Pinterest or could I create the text overlay in Premiere Pro for example?
Liked your suggestion to at hashtags but don't see this option. Is that no longer used?

Thank you so much!
Hashtags, are you asking if they’re no longer supported?
Love the video Heather! Does the text overlay have to be added in Pinterest or is Canva equally effective?
Great info and very easy to implement, thanks 🙏
My pleasure!

This was SO useful. Thanks! :)
Great video! Should we still use sections in our boards?

Very helpful video!!! Thank you for the information.

I’ll see you there!

It’s definitely A pin. Just make yours and put it on the board. If it’s the first pin that’s fine if it’s the 15th that’s okay too.
@@HeatherFarris thanks so much!!

Yay! Stick around for more.

But yes what you said above, perfect examples of what you could include. Probably not decor unless it’s also about decorating your party.
Thank you so much for this
Oh my gosh of course! Glad it was helpful.
where do i put keywords 2024?
How to find tags related to my niche?
An easy way to look and just get ideas is to look at audience insights in the ads menu. But just typing in topics will bring things up.
nice
Importante!
Muy importante
Pintrest counts my own views too???
Yes, your views and any views on pins you pin to your boards.
