I love my Overlock b44. I bought in May and have threaded it several times. But this time, when I was threading the lower looper, and threaded it pursuant to the instructions, and videos, and when I come to the next to the last part when you have to put the thread through the groove and send it to the middle of the machine and thread it through the hole and finish with the rest of the threading, I attempt to chain and the darn lower looper comes out of the groove part. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Maggie, I'm not sure I understand exactaly which part you are referring to. Usually on the lower looper there is a little hook to keep the thread in place. Also be sure to leave a long tail before handwheeling the stitch to form, which will lock it in place.
