Novelists are great. They gone thru a few lineup changes and am a big fan of Camile and the energy and different approaches to songwriting she brings to the table. They always a putting out solid bangers and great live.
Saw them with Erra as well. Sick show and I was surprised by them. I had listened to the older stuff and I wasn't aware of the new stuff and it was dope.

You mentioned how she said "misery", like Paramore's Misery Business. She also said "sign of the times", which is a line from the Spiritbox song Rotoscope. Could be pure coincidence, but considering her vocals, Haley and Courtney could be influences.
That stuttering synth was *chef's kiss* Oh and besides her amazing voice, Camille brings a truckload of personality to the band. I love how she's been front and center from day one on Turn it Up.
Would've possibly enjoyed it more without the clip I think but overall guitar solo was sick some of the riffs were good but didn't quite find the rest of the tune as gripping as say spiritbox stuff. That said I'm not a paramore fan so that poppier side is probably a bit lost on me. Would definitely watch them live though

They're such a sick band. Was a bit disappointed with their last album thing tho..
