Thanks. I have just bought one. Yes it is noisy but it’s impossible to grind beans without noise. I got caught out the first few times when the machine is warming up and again when it switching off because I did not have anything under the spout and it releases hot water upon starting and finishing. Other thank that I am looking forward to finding my way around it. The best tip I can say to people moaning about the coffee is no matter how expensive the machine is, If the beans are no good no machine will fix it. A barista told me roasted beans are only good for a max of 3 months after roasting and most of what we buy in the supermarkets only have an expiry date but not the roasting date. So it’s worth buying small batch beans.
Everybody complains, or brings it up, the noise of the grinder.... When I was a young boy, we only had beans because grind ed coffee was not invented? and a grinder......man, that thing made such a noise, we could hear it all the way upstairs.... but it was an improvement because when I was younger, my grandma had a mill by hand, and a cute little drawer that catches the coffee...Took me a lot or arm wrestle to grind coffee.. Ah, those were the days, (late 60's) So people, stop arguing and enjoy what we have at our fingertips....
Thanks for the video. I much prefer these home videos than some studio setting video. I think I might pick this machine up. I love that its buttons and no touch screen but maybe thats just me XD
Still working today? I got the ECAM 22.115b but it looks just like yours, not sure what's different. But I do know it makes great coffee, feels like quality product.
Hi! Nice video! I just got my machine. I try to find way to make coffee more heavy. I have the selection for coffee in mac and the grinder between 1 to 3, at 2. I get light coffee. Any tips?
The starbucks coffee beans only in the small space ? Can i put it in the large space ? If no which coffee can be used in the large space ? Thank you so much
Thank you for the video! I'm using a moka pot and thinking of buying this machine. Did you ever use a moka pot and can tell me if the upgrade worth the money? It's about 480$ here
Yes I have used a moka pod but I like the americano type of coffee and with this machine you can get which type you prefer. From espresso to latte machiato and so on . It was a very good investment for us. Please subscribe and like this video. It helps me a lot.
@@Claudiu85 Hi again :) Wanted to ask you if you ever changed the grinding settings or just left it on stock setting? Also I would like to hear your thought about the min-max settings, which did you find the best?
@@xbasskickerx hello my friend, I’ve changed the grinding position to 4 and the coffee strength to max , that’s my preferred type of coffee ( American) . The grinder setting is translated like this : if you want the coffee to be very fine you put the grinder on 5 . That has something to do with the flavor and strength . You must find yourself the perfect coffee . It’s very hard for me to tell you what’s the best setting for you. The coffee beans are also different from a brand to another.
@@Claudiu85 So we got the machine finally and it's really great. One thing I wanted to ask you is if you use a water softener (the built-in filter) and how frequent you change it. Is it very important to use the genuine one or can I order some third-party filters?
I haven’t used a filter . I’ve just used the original one in the start but in the region wheee I live the water quality is very good. In your case it may be different. There are also some settings if you read the manual where you can tell the machine what type of water it is in your region and it will adjust the rinsing process interval. You can easily use aftermarket filters if they fit properly or are made for this type of coffee machine.
Can you tell me what colour light comes on when using temperature button and steam button? We’ve just bought one and these two buttons are orange not green and I think this could indicate it’s faulty so I just wanted to check with another owner. Thanks

One question; how often does the machine need to go through the descaling process? Just asking bc mine starts flashing only 10 days/2 weeks after the last time I descaled it (with Delonghis decalcification product and following the steps accordingly and completing the process successfully.) But 2 weeks is quite excessive is it not???? (FYI: we're just 2 ppl using it around twice a day)
You can set up how often you think it will be necessary to descale the Coffee machine. You can choose how soft or hard the water is. Softer water selected it will ask you once in 2 or 3 months.
Hi, I have a question. I have just bought this machine, really pleased with it. However, on mine, there is no on/off switch on the back. The place where it should be is there, but no switch. Do you know if there is a work around, as I can adjust water hardness (I hve very soft water etc as several things depend on leaving the switch at the rear on, while adjusting. Thanks.
I have a problem with the machine and I don’t know how to result it, the button in the middle is flashing red. I’ve tried to press it many time it just pours some water then it gets back to flashing red again

depends on how much coffee you drink, it will notify you, I recommend using citric acid

People with tiny little mentalities and tiny brains would complain about such a small instance of noise, obviously have too much money.
That machine is the simplest of the bunch, believe me, with not much circuitry, it will last at least 5 years.
That's the point my friend. I'm satisfied with it and I've never had any issue with it . 👍👍
How much is this machine?
around 300 EUR
I have a problem with the machine and I don’t know how to result it, the button in the middle is flashing red.

You have to rinse it . Search on RUclips magnifica s descaling.
@@Claudiu85 I’ve done it and it’s still flashing
Probably is something wrong with it , try to contact delonghi and ask them about the issue you have. I have never had this issue.
you have to descale it with descaling powder (read the manual)
Coffee Comes out too quickly on yours
the cream of the es is not that good, check ur beans u need a good Q.
thank u for the rev.
Nice, but you need some editing. Try to keep video length under 5 minutes. That way you will have the undivided attention of viewers.
Thanks for the advice 👍😊
