I got divorced from my ex husband but he didn't fulfil any of the expenses and I did not insist on it because I know he will not pay. however, in the second life I will take all of what he owes me in Hasanat (good deeds) .

I go through with fasah divorce with my 2 baby girls 💔 without any of settlements and child maintenance

Getting a khula without a shari reason is haram, to get child maintenance you dont need to go to a court. You are not entitled to any settlement within islam. If it turns out you had paid a deposit towards your house then you could get half on the basis that it is a return on your investment otherwise you cant walk away with a house that was his. Any woman that does that has usurped another mans property. All you are entitled to is maintenance and shelter during your iddah period. And your children have the right to all expenses paid for by their father.

@Mufti menk JazakAllah for this video we really needs to learn more .... My ex still unfair to me even after a long time he doesn't let my kids to see my family and very controlling behaviour mislead the court az well... But InshaAllah justice will happen from Allah one day
You mentioned a very important point. Here in our country or maybe in any other countries men force their wives to the point that they ask for divorce and the man skip the Mahr. I have seen many cases and the judges are on different point of view on this.

It takes a lot mentally and emotionally to sustain the qualities and rights that both a wife and husband need to gaurd and protect their home, relationship, and family in marriage.
I dont know if Q&A is allowed here, we are in the brink of going to divorce, your insight would surely help us alot.
From a personal experience, the hijab used to be part of the wife's ways of dressing modestly.
In our society in Sierra Leone, sadly our Muslim women are sometimes misguided in their proper roles as single and married women, at the fault of their male counterparts or those who claim to be scholars.
So much so that a Muslim woman known to wear a hijab is stereotyped as a bad, wicked, or evil person, based on the actions of those that are bad.
So the wife now abadons the hijab, and still dresses modestly. This has influenced her daughters,
And even more so when evidences and the Ahadith are used to caution the wife, she sees it as being forced in the name of Islam and seeks counsel from Christian worshipping women to the point of joining then in their way of worship, to somehow ease the burden of being tormemted Auzubillah !!!
A divorce is being sought after as an alternative option to getting a 2nd wife.
If this is the case, is it permissible in Islam?
There is no compulsion in Islam, full. Stop.

Khulu for women is a huge thing...
In previous marriage for khulu I first asked pernission, when it is allowed then I start the process....and after two months of istikharah and istighfar. .
Divorce and khulu are not to be played with things...
We have to be careful with it as it concerns everything and everyone in and of our families...
Except if it concens of very serious matters such as abusive behaviours and a matter of life and death.

Salam Mufti. I noticed the topic of marriage are often brought up. I'm waiting for a topic of CHEATING. A father who is a pathological liar and a cheater for more than a decade. Worse, i am a daughter who is 38 years of age and is one whom people would brutally called an old spinster. My father ruined my mental health. I am a psychiatric patient. Also jobless. I am so sorry but this topic pisses me off. I don't trust men. My mom saw the evidence but she had no choice but to still be with him. My condition is heading bad to worse.

What do you do when your wife converted to Islam but down the line want to change her mind and worship God in a way she feels closer to him?
She can continue being a christian or a jew but if she commits shirk then the nikah breaks automatically.
