I LOVED this scene! Gally went from being a coward in the first movie to a straight up soldier in the last one. I appreciated the growth with his character.
His arc is why he's my favourite character in the films. One of the producers said Will Poulter was the one who brought up changing Gally from a straight up bully to a protective person who just connected the wrong dots about Thomas. There's a reason this actor is going places! ❤
@jnb4729 if you read the first novel (or re-read if it's been a while) you'll see how horrible Gally is and for no reason. That's not the way Will plays him in the first film and the saga was better for it.

Teresa DOES look at Thomas though, very briefly. And Gally’s problem is that she’s a traitor trying to talk her way out of the situation that she’s directly caused.
Teresa is a traitor. They trusted her, she contacted WCKD, betrayed them and Minho was taken. So, you know what, Gally has every right to be mad at her.
Even after being betrayed, Thomas still cares for Teresa enough to protect her. No one else tried to stop Gally when he implied to cut Teresa's finger, only Thomas. I'm still sore about the ending in both the movies and the books...

I can't imagine how much they must hate her: She barely had to live in the Glade and never understood their trauma She betrayed them and gets Minho and the others captured and tortured (yeah, Ava's promises can't be trusted -- psychological trauma still 'hurts', Teresa's just that naive) She's been safe, healthy with clean water and clothes, a bed and the security of being a prized scientist for *months* while they run for their lives all because she made a deal with the devil Despite working with them closely before and after the Maze she decides to stay with WCKED even being fully aware of their methods. I can understand she wants to save humanity, but you can't lose your own in the process and you can't sacrifice children to do it. She realizes how dangerous Janson is by warning Thomas; she knows he's psychotic. Kayla did an *amazing job* with this complex character that -- despite never being able to agree with her choices -- I actually *feel* for her. Last Two Cents: Any society that chooses to sacrifice innocent children for its survival doesn't deserve to continue. It doesn't matter if the children volunteer beforehand (as some people speculated before TFC) after living and watching their friends dying in the Maze they have the right to change their minds (because its their life, their brains, their gift) -- WCKED chooses to dehumanize before and after the Maze. I get that innocent people are dying, but you can't force one life in exchange for another -- even many -- it just makes the survivors into monsters.

im glad they brought Gally back in this movie he comes back completely differently in the book but they did a better job with him in the movie than James Dashner did in the book
@@erikita2095 he got hit by the spear by minho then the rebels found him in the wicked place where both mazes were and they found out that he was still alive so he became part of the rebels even though he never explained it but in the book newt dies almost the same but different in the book and that is how they find out that Gally is still alive in the book

Tbh, I see both sides. Teresa put her friends in danger and is responsible for death of quite a few people. But she also wanted to find a cure, and getting revenge on WCKD wasn’t going to stop the virus. WCKD was good and bad. They wanted to find a cure but they were doing it in the wrong way.
