The failure of SVB and everything happening has left the markets in shreds. I'm at a crossroads right now, deciding if to liquidate 200k portfolio down by 10%, and it's uneasy for me to not panic after my recent awful divorce. I just need investing ideas to afford my retirement

Marco, thanks for information on your channel. It’s my understanding that ChatGBT does not scan or pull information from the internet. It’s a language model. It is supposed to give you basic responses with the types of initial questions you asked. From what I gather, the power of it all is how detailed you make the prompts/questions. And then ask it to provide more details along the way. Finally, try and start each of your example questions with …. “You are an expert in providing personal financial advice. - then continue with your detailed prompts. I’m curious to see how far down the rabbit hole you can go. Thanks again

Marko, chat gpt has said that it’s only relevant information is from before 2021. So the FTX crisis happened in 2022 and likely just hasn’t been updated on this version of chat GPT as of now.

Marko, there are ways to trick it to answer your questions without it telling your the “not financial advice parts” 🤣 Ask it to share investment “ideas” and you’ll see how different the reply will be lol I have noticed that the same question can be asked differently and you’ll get a better answer from it. Good stuff though!

Since I’m a novice to investing I find refreshing having chatgpt list all the different strategies right there easy to read. And (don’t judge) I can have break down whatever I unable to understand like I’m 10. That’s probably one of my favorite features of chatgpt. Also it was accurate about your page you are truly helpful

It would be interesting to copy and paste in a Prospectus on a stock (or 6 prospectuses on 6 potentials) and create some GPT templates to compare and contrast. “Create a table that…” kind of prompt.

If you really want to get your mind blown you should upgrade to gpt4. For reference, it went from the bottom 10% of BAR exam scores (which is the free one you are using) to the TOP 10% of BAR exam results using gpt4, amongst many other exams like all the AP classes, coding, MBA, Stanford clinical licensing exam etc. I mean Morgan Stanley and PWC are already integrating privately licensed versions of it into their company.

That version of ChatGPT does not pull anything from the internet. It has zero internet access...
It uses an algorythm to place one word after another using contextual logic. There is no internet pulling of information going on with that version.
AI sounds like it has common sense
The AI has limited knowledge of events after 2021. This is the reason it did not have current info on all your questions.
Until they role out GPT with web browsing which some users had access to recently. Also, Auto GPT could be leveraged with web access and role playing to increase levels of accuracy and insight.
Looks like the writers on strike can be perfectly replaced with ChatGPT. I am sure ChatGPT can write better material than those writers.
