I was married for 21 years. If I’d heard anything like this from my husband, I would’ve fought like hell to save it. My patience was almost limitless, and I was patient for 20 years. But I was never met in the middle. I wasn’t even given a crumb in the last almost 10 yrs. Emotional abuse is just as devastating as physical abuse, and it’s often even more insidious because there are no physical signs - the fresh wounds and the old scars are all inside of me. I look “normal” on the outside to everyone in this world. Been divorced for almost 18 months now. Still hurt, still damaged, still shedding tears, especially when I hear songs like this. Narcissistic abuse and other emotional abuse is no joke. It leaves a lifetime of scars that often no one else sees ..... until they start looking closer. Then they see all the devastation.

I just wish she could talk to other ladies who have lived the nightmare she is living and knows that her happiness is as important as her children's or anyone else. I feel for anyone who has been through such a horrible situation, whether female or male because it's soul destroying and something as you say, is what you cry over still in those lonely moments. I'm torn and would do anything for her and know within one single beat of my heart she would have more love than he has shown her in over 25 years.

I'm actually able to say that I have asked God to intervene in our restoration if it be his will. If in all sincerity a person comes to realizing how much of importance and significance someone is to you- let them know. This song hits home for me, we were good and he started to bring up future talk and I was scared and put him in the friend zone and me and him didn’t talk for a bit. He changed his views of me and he took the opportunity to get back with a ex.. I was hurt badly and that was my own fault. Lucky for me we still talked then his ex left him but we jumped too fast, he didn’t get over his hurt yet, wanted the distance, and his job got hectic so we split again and then in late October I started to reach out to him and we texted. I didn’t think nothing of it would happen again just texting like friends and then he started to randomly call me and little indications that something is up lol We went to Dinner surprise to me I got to see him before my birthday/Christmas and he got me a gift. It feels like the first time we met all over again and I’m happy to be where we are and have the second chance opportunity that we have. Plus he’s slowing down on traveling for work and he plans to get 2 degrees and stop traveling so much only for emergencies. Which makes me so happy ❤️
I do love him so much and always here for him for the highs and lows no matter what but he push me away all cause of some snake hissing in his ear. Miss him so much and pray he come home soon 😢💖

This song hits home for me, we were good and he started to bring up future talk and I was scared and put him in the friend zone and me and him didn’t talk for a bit. He changed his views of me and he took the opportunity to get back with a ex.. I was hurt badly and that was my own fault. Lucky for me we still talked then his ex left him but we jumped too fast, he didn’t get over his hurt yet, wanted the distance, and his job got hectic so we split again and then in late October I started to reach out to him and we texted. I didn’t think nothing of it would happen again just texting like friends and then he started to randomly call me and little indications that something is up lol We went to Dinner surprise to me I got to see him before my birthday/Christmas and he got me a gift. It feels like the first time we met all over again and I’m happy to be where we are and have the second chance opportunity that we have. Plus he’s slowing down on traveling for work and he plans to get 2 degrees and stop traveling so much only for emergencies. Which makes me so happy ❤️
