Sea Breeze in Cape Cod

Sea Breezes are a real thing and its all based on specific heat, temperature and pressure. During the day, the sand gets got so the air above the sand rises causing low pressure. The sand has a low specific heat so it heats up quickly. The water on the other hand has a high specific heat so it stays relatively cool during the day. The air above the water is cool and it sinks causing high pressure. Winds blow from high pressure to low pressure, so if you look at the flag, the wind is coming directly from the water, hence a sea breeze!
