Car insurance 60
Grocery 400-500
Internet 40
So expect to spend around 2k roughly monthly just for basic needs. Which can still leave around 700-800 of post tax earnings. Beware that taxes are also high here.
So if you are making around 25lakh in India and money is the reason of moving here then you might have to rethink carefully.
His struggle is entirely different, apparently he came to the UK on his wife’s student visa or something. Considering the struggle and no job offer that he mentioned when they landed in the UK, he doesn’t seems to have skilled worker visa which seems true in your case.
