HI Suzan, I would love to be a member of your private Group being a beginner.
But I have no Facebook membership.
Anyway, I have discovered very lately your lessons, and I appreciate your tutorials which clearly speak to all levels including mine.
    Thank you

Very good tips, I'll be watching this again.
I'm no longer a Newby but not yet a beginner. I play one key a day to practice them all. When I do my scales, I start with modes, but not in the usual order.
I start with the Lydian, the only one that sharpens a note. Then I play Ionian, Dorian, Aeolian, Phrygian, Lochrian, and then one more that flattens the 4th degree. It's some sort of diminished scale. By doing that one more note is flattened each time.
And I concentrate on the Melodic and Harmonic minors.

Actually I had been learning piano from youtube and learning my favourite songs by watching tutorials and memorizing them and i could play these songs with arpeggios but i never bothered to learn music theory and donn't know how to read music but now i am making effort to start learning these basics that i had skipped entirely.
I kinda hate that i will have to start with ultra basic steps as i have skipped through these two method books but i will manage i think😅

I bet you'll catch on to the music theory stuff quite quickly since you've been playing piano already, even if it has just been for memory. Good luck!!

What works well for me is staccato practice to play HT and slow practice to simply play well

Hi, thank you for these lessons! I was wondering if the sheet music for The Harp Song is somewhere ?

You're welcome! The Harp Song is in the Alfred Book 1 method book and I don't believe it's sold separately. You can purchase the complete book here: www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/product/alfred-s-basic-adult-piano-course-lesson-book-book-1-3659181.html
