So it's a bully going after what he thinks are low-hanging fruit. Notice that he hasn't gone after Magnus or Fabi because he's made a calculation that he would get more blowback going after them. What the chess world needs is more top players supporting Jospem, Danya and whoever the next victim will be. I think that Danya has a choice on whether to go on the offense, ignore Kramnik, or just answer questions as best he can. The latter approach just means that he will continued to get bullied. Could you imagine being married to Kramnik? Does he constantly accuse his wife of cheating because of statistics?

I think the Kramnik thins is a little over the top. But I don't think you proved anything really, the whole point is if in your setup, you kept looking to your left. Kramnik see Danya looking to the right for twitch chat and stuff. But he is also looking to the left. His concern is about constantly looking in opposite directions even with 7 seconds left on the clock. Does that mean he's cheating...I dunno.

Online- services are a huge business and so the game doesn't matter any more. The difference is: Poker requires luck, chess (as Bridge btw) skills. People should simply focus on OTB imo.
@ the only important thing with online chess is huge prize money, online ratings don’t really matter, you have to play OTB chess to gain real rating and get titles. We can’t just stop playing online chess at this point, we need to develop good anticheating measures, which I think can easily be done with modern technologies. Put two cameras, share the screen, I think it will minimize the cheating problem, but people would still find ways🤷♂️
It's simple, put in the rules: Eye deviations from the board are cheating and instant forfeiture (no performance enhancing ceiling glances, no performance enhancing bladder relief)
