    tragen is a german word that means carry! so it’s pronounced trah-gen :)

    The more I use my tragen, the more I end up loving it! I’m so excited for your system ❤️

      Yes! I found out my water color pallet is magnetic and I love that when I’m journaling the magnet keeps my pallet from sliding around.

    Thrilled to see the return of the Hobonichi A6! Always love your spreads and content, regardless of the book / rings system you’re in 🥹

    Thank you for sharing. I really love Hobonichi, especially the A6 Day Free and Techo (not sure if they are the same)... However, I freeze up when it comes time to write in them. I don't know why. I almost feel like they're to beautiful to write in, but that's what they're for. 😂❤

    I really like your nail color! After spending all of 2023 thinking I was really sure about what I was going to need in 2024, the journey to finding my system for this year has been really interesting. Watching your journey has been really fun and I like the system you have right now!

    Love my A6 Techo! I’m a white paper fan; love the A6 size and the colored months.

    Hi again Lindsey! Watching your videos and hearing you talk about your planner rationale and decisions give me a boost of confidence in my own planner life choices 😂. I also bought (impulsively) the A6 Tragen but with the Hobonichi Day-Free to replace my cute-but-too-small Traveler's Company Passport as my everything planner... but I fell in love with the Weeks (again) 😅. I've decided, like you, to use it instead as a memory keeper/journal for all the mementos I gather, and because the day-free is un-dated, I can use the pages however! 😊

    I'm enjoying my A5 Tragen for my Bujo 2nd edition because I can now carry my favorite pens without it all being so heavy as with leather. Excited that it will carry my Art Tool Kit as well during future travels. By the way, my handwriting is not great with my favorite Sailor pen either. When I want my handwriting to look legible I write with my Pilot VP. Thanks for sharing.

    I love your daily spreads! Your balance between writing and decorative elements is so pretty. Do you have a general guideline for how much lettering and art to include each day?

    I also back fill if I change planners. I just purchased an a6 hon and this same cover. I am really stuck because I really like the layering affect in the a6 rings, but I prefer a bound book.

      I’m trying to do both by planning in my pocket rings and journaling in a bound book. But there’s just something super satisfying about flipping through bound books

    Do you gather a few photos to print on 1 piece of paper? That's a problem I find annoying when I want to print photos on printer paper instead of using a photo printer. :/

      Same. I have thought that i will keep space for photo on phone. And write down like me near camel. Or daisy touching. And then after 20-30 photos gets compiled. Probably like after a month i will print them all on A4. And then stick them in designated squares. And so in the end everything Is up to date

    for the pictures you print on the kokuyo paper - do you get the regular letter size and just resize pictures before printing or use a different size? i love how it looks with the thinner paper!

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  4 месяца назад +2

      I print on the letter and the a4 size (i find the a4 for some reason behaves better with my fountain pens). But I upload a bunch of photos to canva and then resize / print them all on on letter size then trim them down after that. I still waste a lot of paper - but it’s cheaper than printing with a smaller printer everytime like the mini canon ivy

    How noticeable is the bump of the magnet when writing on the left side of the book?

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  4 месяца назад +2

      I haven’t noticed it at all, but I’m used to having things tucked into the cover. When im filling out January I actually like to pull the notebook out of the cover completely so I can fold it back on itself so the “page split” is even if that makes sense. In February there’s enough pages on the left hand side that I leave it in and haven’t noticed the magnet.

      I slide my book out since i don't tuck both lids into the cover.
