Just to be clear, I don't want anyone featured in this video to feel bad. I think it's funny so many people had the same idea. This video is supposed to be intended as good fun. The reason I don't rename the videos is because I worry they will be harder to search for. I remember with my first Tensors for Beginners series, I numbered them as -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, etc... I thought starting at -1 would be cute... but it turned out to be very confusing for youtube when it was trying to recommend people my videos. I worry trying to do something similarly cute by using the word "beginnors" will also mess up the algorithm/search results in a similar way, particularly because most of the videos have been out for a year now.
Imo you could make a second but identical playlist called "Spinors For Beginnors" and then pretend you dont know what people are talking about when they ask about the second playlist. It'd be really funny and only take like 4 minutes to make
This was freaking hilarious, i love your content, I haven't been able to keep up with the spinor stuff completely it's kinda above my knowledge level. But this series is really fun and interesting . By the way, a trans friend of mine liked the response video you did for Sabine so i just wanted to let you know
@@pacotaco1246 Reuploads are bad for the algorithm, since RUclips recommends it to people who already watched the first version, and they are unlikely to watch it again. Thus RUclips concludes the video is uninteresting and stops recommending it.
yay my comment made it in the video! Today we are all winors! (Also thanks for teaching me math and physics stuff, your videos are unbelievablely helpful!)
This had me laughing harder than anything ive seen in the past month. I just commented the "spinors for beginnors" comment on one of your videos. As soon as I clicked away from the video, my eyes just happened to land on this video. Maybe the funniest coincidence ive ever seen haha.
There is an elegant solution... all it would require: a) forcing the whole world to change the therm used in math/physics b) proposing an alternative name for well known rotating gadget that uses bearing
Hey Chris ! I have been following your Tensor Basics, Tensor Calculus and Relativity series. Would it be possible for you to also recommend some reference textbook to the way you present the material and some maybe to get some practice problems under our belt to learn the following material better. I understand that you refer to several textbooks at once, but 1 or 2 references would be helpful.
Hey, sorry for the late response. Unfortunately I can't give any textbook recommendations on tensors... I learned tensors using a lot of scattered sources, and I never took the time to go through any textbook properly, so I can't give recommendations on those. There are a few GR sources I talk about in this video: ruclips.net/video/4ZZ7Po6rckU/видео.html In particular, from the description, here are some sources I've used for relativity: [C3] Sean Carroll GR Lecture Notes www.preposterousuniverse.com/grnotes/ [C4] Exploring Black Holes: www.eftaylor.com/exploringblackholes/ [C5] Catalogue of Spacetimes arxiv.org/pdf/0904.4184.pdf [C6] Einstein's Papers Online einsteinpapers.press.princeton.edu/
YOOOO i'm in video!!! For all seriousness though. You could rename the series for 1st of april or something... Or make a video "But what is a spinor?" XD
Don't worry. I'll make a private Playlist that only I'll see and call it Spinnors for Beginnors and you'll just have to suffer knowing it exists, but no one else can see it :)
I mean it be funny to name it like that, but it might be harder for people to find it if its misspelled. We can call it that for fun but the titles should be well spelled out
I don't understand why (*social media*)-and-all-its-derivative platforms haven't just melted comments and expressed sentiment that express the same idea together, for at least, the "content creator". I understand the platform does it for engagement numbers, but they could save the sanity of the person having to see 500 different variations of the same comment. I would love a uniqueness algorithm to be applied to comments, so I could save my effort and mental energy for literally anything else. But, no one likes using r9k anymore? ... apparently I've been completely out of the loop on r9k because it went through a whole journey. At least there are other algorithms, though.
Don't feel bad, haha. This is all in good fun. I don't want anyone in this video to feel bad. I just thought it was funny kept getting the same comments. The reason I don't rename the series is because I worry it will be harder to search for when people are looking for it.

You could spell it that way in the thumbnail but normal in the title
actually I'm extremely happy to see this is so popular. even if it never changes, now we all know how many others have said it!

"Spinors for beginors" is how I call them in my head every time I think about them, I'm sorry.
You should repost all of the same material a second time so that its double covered.
LMAO
alsdkfnaslkdjgnakj
You can edit it into spinnor for beginnors can't you, as a beginnor that would be great to see ngl.
If you lower the complexity a little, you can reboot the series and call it "Spinors for minors".
Explainor like I'm fiveor mistor
Learning spinors at least will explain to minors why it is so hard to tie shoes
In your defense, we the intersection of the language nerd community and the math nerd community are a tiny fraction of the math nerds.
Relativity for creativity

You should have said "Spinors for Startors."
Im proud of ya'll

Thank u, Eigenchros
The memers are learning math and I'm scared

Spinners for Beginners
So funny ! Thanks for sharing 😊
You winnored the Internet.
YOOOO i'm in video!!!

Yes, but boo! 😊
i really thought the climax was going to be you scrolling through your series and renaming every single video to spinors for beginnors
now i am doubly disappointed
@@v_munu rightfully so

in the hall of the spinor beginnor,
your best edit so far hahahha

Nutty :D
i never noticed but
Better late than never
I think I made a similar comment a while back. Great minds think alike, clearly.
So will you rename it?
God damn it why didnt i comment it! But you could name the the general relativity series. "General relativity in general terms"
I always read it as such
Yeah I didn't even watch the series because of this. Too big of a mistake before it even started. Can't trust the material.
You know you're wrong when...
I feel bad now!!!! 😢 sorry!

P.S: My phone corrected it to tensors for sensors 😢

And miss out on that sweet sweet engagement?
binors for spiginnor!
:D
I mentally refer to it as spinors for beginors
So you’ll finally rename it???
general relativity for pelatibities.
XD brilliant editing
i mean, you *can* change titles after upload. just go ahead and correct your mistake :P
Hope somebody get fired for that blunder.
Anyons for anyone?
You can do the right things and call the series correctly when you'll do the videos on twistors...
🫶
Its actually spelled "spinner" not "spinor".....DUHHH
You could have just spelled it properly, too. "Spinners for beginners" rolls off the tongue just fine. No need for theatrics.
Lord will forgive you for you're a sinnor.
Just to give an opposing point of view, I would say don't change the correct English language just for a stupid visual "pun".
