Sounds like a popcorn maker 🍿 I would like to get one, people used to give them away to clear their garage, but now they are considered to be sacred collector items.
What has killed motorcycle sales more than anything is that they push the biggest fastest bikes. Being the fastest is fun . But a couple of dt 50s and some buddies on some back roads is really fun.
Had a 1977 in 1986, heat seized in front of some police who marched me to the police station, no wonder, I was 16, looking about 12. Got sent to prison for 4 months, then came back to pick the bike up. Stuck it on the train, then got off and rode home with no helmet. (Or insurance, MOT, tax, or anything) good times! That's the only time it locked up, had oil and everything, still don't know why. Maybe the autolube had a blockage or airlock?
I don't trust autolubes anymore, premix way more secure. It's caught many a jetski owner out too. Once had a small two stroke running with insufficient oil because their was a drop of oil in the tank cap breather hole and hose after a minor spill.... Too many probs, too little advantage.
@@arbit3r yes, actually that was the second run. First being aged 15 in 1985. a few weeks in risley remand centre in Warrington to begin, then off to derby. Magistrates didn't mess around back then.
Beautiful triple had one of those when I was 12 and wasn’t long before police got me poppin wheelies outside my mates school they creeped up behind me And the first time the long arm of the law caught me that’s the only way they would have that old doll could shift ahh black beauty
What a beautiful sound, the sound of the 1970s!😊
HAD A 1974 GT-380 IN THE EARLY EIGHTIES, LOVED IT, IT WAS A HOOT, AND FAST. GOOD MEMORIES.
IT WAS A VERY GOOD BIKE, RELIABLE, BUT SMOKEY.😊👍
Always loved riding around the Dutch countryside, mainly when I visited on my Triumph.
