Hey Marc, thank you for sharing this educational video on Semantic SEO and Topical maps. I've been watching a lot of Koray's content but have a hard time understanding his concepts. Your video has helped me grasp the EAV concept. The thing I'm still struggling with is the scope of the articles.
Let's take the topic of websites, I know to build a website you need a domain name, web hosting, and so on. To create topical authority on the entity "domain name", there's a lot that can be written as there are quite some attributes to describe (TLD, Allowed Characters, WHOIS, Status, etc) and tasks to be done before using domain name (for a website). For example: ideation, due diligence, choosing, registering, deciding on with or without www, DNS setup. The struggle for me is to know what topic (entity-attribute) should get's it's own article, linked to from the pillar and what topic to explain in full in the pillar itself. Is there a trick, a rule of thumb, method for determining this?
And my second question is, is there a way to see what attributes Google has connected to an Entity (inside the knowledge Graph)?
Hey, glad my videos helped!
There is a rule: If competitor ranks with an article on a specific topic, then you also need a dedicated article for the topic.
If no competitor has an article, then you can write one yourself.
Also look at SERP Similarity.
2 keywords AND similar SERPs = One article
