*I love it **enjoyable.fishing** recommend I’m using it for my 1.0 Crankbaits and small Jerkbait. Paired with my Assassin. Works great, feels great. Would definitely recommend this setup.*
Thanks and welcome to the channel. I would go up to the heavier reel, but more importantly a heavier rod. The rod power is going to be the bigger factor in regards to jig weight. The setup featured has a medium heavy rod and that's a 120 gram jig. When I run 250g it's on a heavy at minimum.
Hey Scott. Does the level wind on the lexa HD affect your jigging in anyway? Been thinking of getting the 400 hyper speed for deep water slow pitch jigging
Reeling with my left hand is something I've done since I was a little kid. I throw with my right hand so casting with it feels more natural and so does fighting fish with my dominant hand. Just how I've always done it. Also, I don't have to cast then switch the rod to the other hand to retrieve.

Indeed, it does by standard. I like flirting with that line where the gear is too light to keep it sporting. That being said, this setup wouldn't keep a real big one out of structure.

Very versatile reel. 👍
I have that setup. Swap out to a T bar power handle and its a game changer
This is awesome! Keep up the good work!
You have good fish fighting form!
Awesome dude. Love me some vertical jigging!
Awesome gear. Nice vid, mate. Cheers
👌Appreciate it man
I'll definitely be trying this with my Lexa!
Subscribed after watchin .. I purchased a lexa 300hd recently so this vid was perfect.... but wat OH rod were u usin...
Just got this reel what rod would you go with? Would like to do some bay fishing from the yak.
You've been putting out good content man 👍 you guys based out of Florida?
I appreciate it. Yeah, northwest Florida.
I'm torn between the lexa 400 TW or the Tranx500 hg.
Looking to invest in a bigger/stronger musky reel for casting that will last.
If you can find a tranx in stock, that's always your best bet. I own a tranx 200 and it's a monster of a reel.
imo the lexa 400 tw casts much more comfortably than the tranx 500
What pole is that set up with? Great video!
Thanks bro, it's a Daiwa Proteus Spiral wrapped MH
look at the bend in that rod! so SICK! what rod is that? got to ask.
found answer earlier in comments but what #. thanks
Just subscribed, excellent content. Would you be comfortable with jigs up to 250gram on the Lexa 300 or would you move up to the Lexa 400?
Thanks and welcome to the channel.

Apakah daiwa lexa 300 Bisa untuk mancing teknik casting..???

Not at all, she's smooth as silk. It's a welcomed feature as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks man. I’m gonna be jigging 450-900’ with it. Do you think I need a longer handle than the stock handle with the hyper speed for more torque?
@@ScottMikles having it is probably better than not having it
Can you tell me the specs an de name of the rod you used for this video ??? Please.
At 40lbs how many yards?
Where is this at. Great catch
Nice video. It really showed me what the reel can do. Bought one last week. Excited to put it to work.
What rod specifications pair with this reel?
Are you a leftie or are you a rightie using a left hand reel on purpose. If so, does using a leftie work better for jigging?

What is the gear ratio on that reel?
