    Mate you are a legend! I just spent 1 hour trying to work out how to do this using other youtube tutorials and even on the Mail Chimp help links that had me downloading Adobe cloud document, telling me to use dropbox to get a URL and even create a spreadsheet for all of my subscribers (a two page description) ... thank you!

    Thank you so, so much. Although the Mailchimp window I'm looking at is a bit different (2022), this has shown me what to do. I'm a techie, but new to Mailchimp. I've spent literally hours going through their website trying to find out how to use the templates and how to 'attach' our newsletter. It has been driving me up the wall, I've had their help pages on one side of the screen and can't replicate what they are doing on my 'live' side. Thanks once again.

    • @GaryEckstein
      @GaryEckstein  3 года назад

      You can certainly link to your PDF from an email for your current subscribers. There is no means however of restricting a once-only download nor stopping the subscribers from forwarding the email to others so they can download the PDF. Whatever software you use to sell your PDF will probably allow you to give a 100% discount; what I'm saying is that perhaps the best way is to give your current subscribers a 100% discount using the software you'll use to sell the PDF. Hope it goes well :)

      Hi Chris, some PDF creators don't use PDF standards correctly in creating PDF files (if you're using an Apple device then this is a known issue) and Mailchimp will only accept standards compliant PDFs. Try to save the PDF file in different software and it may help.

      Hi Louise, you may either download your image from Canva and upload the image into Mailchimp or integrate Canva with Mailchimp - mailchimp.com/en-au/integrations/canva/

      Resolved! I went into settings and changed it back to the 'classic' builder instead of the 'beta'. But unfortunately the file I want to use won't upload. I'm assuming it is too big?

    How do I add a button inside a text in my email without adding a block for the button alone?

      This can be done with HTML e.g. organicweb.com.au/marketing/mailchimp-buttons/

    Hi , can I add a file like a pdf to a PLAIN TEXT EMAIL.

    • @GaryEckstein
      @GaryEckstein  3 года назад

      You'd need to add the 'attachment' hyperlink to the email. Recipients can then click the hyperlink to download the file.
