To be honest tengen is so underrated the guys that underrated gyutaro doesn't understand the intertainment district like gyutaro has venom that could easily kill some hashira the only thing why tengen didn't die was tengen can handle poison more effective
People down rate Tengen because he almost died to the lowest upper moon and lost one of his hands.
Yet people don’t understand Tengen was one of the strongest Hashira in that point of time.
The demon slayer corps knew an upper moon lived in the Entertainment District which has killed 6 other Hashira before. Knowing this why would they send their weakest Hashira, it doesn’t make sense.
Any other Hashira would’ve died to the poison, Tengen has the fastest reaction speed and is the fastest and one of the physically strongest Hashira.

Tengen's experience to gather intel inside a closed & busy city was all the reason he was assigned to take the mission.

you guys do realize how fast tanjiro was immobilized after getting hit by gyutaro’s poison. the only hashira that could stop that for a little bit was tengen due to his poison resistance. gyutaro clears if he gets a hit off, even if the stronger hashira

Crazy how underrated Shinobu is in your video. She's one of the fastest if not the fastest hashira. 100% no diff Daki and the chemistry between Kanao and her would be able to find a way to get the W
She could weaken him with poison but I doubt shinobu is going to have enough strength to beat gyutaro. We saw how quickly he neutralized the poisons in the kunai, there’s no way she’s beating him.

Tengen is the fastest and second hashira, he had a lot of teniques that directly harm Gyutaro.
Only Tengen is poison resistance. Tengen is the fastest and he could barely block Gyutaro's intention to kill.
There's a high probability that none of the Hashiras would have avoided being poisoned and as soon as that happens, none of them would last enough to beat Gyutaro.
Tengen is the best hashira to fight Gyutaro. None would have performed better

Actually if anyone was going to beat upper 6 it would be combination of poison resistance + sun breathing + poison healing which no Hashira possess but Tengen and kids he tagged along. Plus Daki is no joke handling both simultaneously is equivalent to fighting upper 4 if not more.

None have poison resistence and it's extremely unrealistic to think that Gyutaro wouldnt land a SINGLE hit on any of them, because that's all he would need. And no, gyutaro WOULD go crazy on all of them. He didn't do it because the dude was attractive, he fought because they were trying to kill him and his sister...

Gyomei: One-Shots
Sanemi: Kept up with suppressed Base Kokushibo (Upper 1), will have no difficulty with Gyutaro (Upper 6)
Shinobu: She was faster than Doma's perception (Upper 2). But since she can't decapitate demons it depends if the poison will work or not.
Obanai: Was able to cut Muzan's neck, also no-diffs since he is too fast
Rengoku: Was relative to Compass Needle Akaza (Upper 3), even if he was playing, that's enough for him to outscale Gyutaro.
Giyu: Was relative to Compass Needle Akaza, once again even if he was holding back, enough to outscale.
Mitsuri: Was faster than Zohakuten (Upper 4), I'm sure she can defeat Gyutaro.
Muichiro: Tough take, Base without Mark lost easily to Gyokko (Upper 5) who was barely trying. He will most likely lose to Gyutaro as well, but with the Mark then he blitzes.

It is nowhere mentioned that Gyutaro is as strong as uppermoon 4 I can ensure you. He is the weakest uppermoon after Daki, weaker than Gyokko. Ranks are made for a reason.

obanai- if it was a one on one he could take out daki but at his level that point in the story i feel like the poison would kill him.
mitsuri- honestly its hard to tell, she would defenitely put up a fight, maybe even requiring daki and gyutaro work together, but poison could have been mitsuris downfall
muichiro- he would have died. almost dying to upper 5 (only reason he lived was cause of upper 5s arrogance)
I would say all of the hashira would have a problem unless somebody takes care of daki but gyutaro himself would make quick work of most of the hashiras at that point in the story
only way i could see daki or gyutaro die is if the fight takes too long and the sun comes out but then again the poison would kill them before sunrise. Gyomei is too large so him getting hit by the poison from gyutaro is very likely

gyutaro 1 shots any hashira who dosent have poison resistance. And they also wouldnt be able to use their mark since that would make the poison go even faster. Not to mention how many of them would survive gyutaros self destruction. We also must note that tengen was the fastest hashira pre training arc and how gyutaro easily matched up with tengens speed
Bro stop then according to your opinion he would one shot the upper moons too. Only if it were easy. Ranking exist for a reason. Any top hashira pillar would wreck the two demons without breaking a sweat. With or without marked.

Yeah no, i have to disagree with a lot of these scenarios. Tengen was able to survive because of Shinobi training. His resistance to posion is what essentially carried him. Even if other hashiras are stronger, they most likely cant withstand the posion, and it will he fairly hard to avoid Gyutaro landing at least one clean blow on them. Shinobu, and though unlikely, Giyu may be the only other hashiras to survive with the assistance of the Kamado squad. Shinobu might be able to resist the posion, and Giyu's dead calm may suffice as a means for defense so that a clean blow of poison wont connect.
As for all the scenarios without the kamado squad, every hashira would die without assistance from them. Youre forgetting how strong Gyutaro's poison is, and how unlikely it is that most of the hashira can defend against the poison and daki at the same time. Daki alone isnt a threat whatsoever, but Gyutaro giving each hashira a run for their money might open them up for daki to deliver solid blows. Alone, even Tengen would die, because all it takes is one hit from the poison and your performance will decrease substantially. Even if Sanemi and Gyomei are somehow stronger than Gyutaro, they are bound to be hit at least once. That one hit is honestly all Gyutaro needs to change the tides of battle
I feel like this video is vastly underestimating how powerful Gyutaro is. He basically solo'd Tengen and the boys, while giving up half his concentration to protect Daki (after he gives her one of his eyes), not to mention, Tengen was equipped with laced projectiles to help neuter the demons. Like, forget his poison, Gyutaro is a skilled warrior, he even killed a samurai in one move BEFORE becoming a demon and he was still a teenager. His fighting skills even had Tengen struggling to adapt, and a he's former shinobi on top of being a Hashira. Now, add the poison to ALL of that, Gyutaro is not going down easily to any of them, not even Gyomei. Especially since the poison breaks down the body and Tengen only lasted as long as he did due to being resistant to poison.

@@Mitskiism Yeah Gyomei is #1, but Shinobu is far too weak physically. Also Tengen has combat speed on par with Shinobu, her attack speed is much quicker though
To everyone who think that any Hashira who has this, this and that feat, bla bla bla, read this:
Sanemi LITERALLY said that the Hashira Training really paid off, when he was fighting Kokushibo alongside Gyomei. That means the HT helped the Hashiras increase by A LOT. So basically post HT, the Hashiras would be indeed much stronger, and if those versions fought, yes, some don't need marks to beat Gyutaro and Daki.
But we're talking before that. If they don't have the massive boosts of the marks and the HT increasing their base higher, then they're like Tengen, if not MUCH worse, because he's quite fast, his weapons literally spin around, so he's supposed to be much faster than a swordsman swinging a sword by nature. Guess what? He was barely fast enough.
One more thing, JUST BECAUSE some UM is 6, and another is like 4, that doesn't necessarily mean that UM4 > UM6 in absolutely every single damned category! It just means that for one or another reason, they were considered to be stronger than that demon in some sort of a way.
For example:
In a Gyokko VS Gyutaro, Gyokko must have been able to trap Gyutaro or Daki, or surprise them with his tricky attacks. Let's not forget that base Muichiro was obliterated by Gyokko, and that this demon is quite tricky. Water prison + fish transformation punches are quite tough to counter if you don't have a mark or if you're not prepared for them. Though I believe that Gyutaro and Daki COULD potentially beat Gyokko, since he's really jobbing a lot.
Hantengu. If Hantengu gets inside that tree, Gyutaro is going to struggle a lot in trying to pry him out and defeating him, while Zohakuten is fucking him up. Mitsuri, while she was capable of overpowering Zohakuten once, she got fucked right after that, and even after unlocking the Mark, Zohakuten almost killed her. So it's not *speed* or whatever, it's again the tricky ways to defeat Hantengu.
For Akaza, the fucking Compass Needle is one of the most broken abilities. Senses all attacks, adapts to the opponent's speed... Plus all these shockwaves. Akaza will win in the long run.
Doma. He's quite smart but he's really jobbing. His ice techniques would really make Gyutaro and Daki struggle, and his final statue might overwhelm them, especially if he's absolutely serious.
And Kokushibo... Upon slashing, both Gyutaro and Kokushibo release flying slashes. Kokushibo however has MUCH more fighting experience, and he's got MANY attacks and forms. Plus he has second phase, which is gonna be WAY too much.
See? I barely used speed in this. It's just that the UMs can be stronger than each other due to different techniques, not due to *sPeEd*...
I think Tengen is possibly the ONLY hashira who could've beaten Gyutaro. The strength of Gyutaro and Daki is the requirement to behead them both at the same time. They seemed to pretty heavily indicate the only reason Gyutaro stayed around to fight was because he was jealous / hated Tengen for having wives and being handsome / proud of it.
tracking down Daki, drawing out Gyutaro, it was something he was perfectly suited for.
On top of that, even though other hashira could track them down, Tengen is the fastest movement wise and one of the fastest combat wise, (he was still almost speed blitzed and lost his arm in a 1v1 despite this) and he's the only hashira with major poison resistance, Gyutaros biggest threat in this fight is his speed and poison, something tengen is PERFECTLY suited towards
I think Tengen, Sanemi and Himejima were the only ones who could win that fight

People often don't understand something, higher rank demons do not automatically have better stats in everything. For example, Hantengu's combat speed is the absolute worst amongst the upper moons, whereas Gyutaro's is top 3. Gyutaro is also far more relentless in his attacks, never allowing for breaks (unlike Akaza and Douma). Gyutaro is also one of the fastest in attack speed

hantengu isn't good for combat but he uses his abilities and blood demon art and i don't think if gyokko is good in combat
in upper rank demons there are only 3 demons who are the best in combat

Gyomei is the strongest hashira for example, but he isn't the fastest. Hantengu has shown zero speed feats besides his attack speed. Maan, gyutaro is lethal to a human opponent. The reasons why he cant rose higher in the upper moon rank is because his poison cant do sh*t to a fellow demon, and he also need to split his power and consciousness in order to keep daki alive.
Only Gyomei can defeat Them alone and easily. Any other hashira that face daki & gyutaro alone will end up as their snack, or dies along with them. Tengen, shinobu, muichiro and kanroji will end up as their snack, while giyu, rengoku, obanai and sanemi will die along with them due to the severe poisoning.
TBH, Tengen is the only hashira capable of withstanding Gyutaro's poison, other hashira would die. If Gyutaro manages to give other hashiras just a tinee-tiny bit of scratch, they're done. So in conclusion, if any hashira except for Tengen we're to sent at the Entertainment District it would be a feast for the Upper Moon 6.
I feel like none of these would actually happen because if they don’t bring the kids/tanjiro,inoske,and zenitsu they wouldn’t go disguised as girls and the kids find the demon not the Hashira so most of these situations the hashira wouldn’t find the demon.

This is a very good video indeed, but i disagree strongly with most of the stuff! To be honest Shinobu would servive and kill with low difficulty, think about it, she is the fastest hashira, even if she gets infected she will manage, she is an expert when it comes to poisons, Rengoku would probably manage better as well, he would probably manage to distinguish the poison because of his fire? I dunno, also Giomei would litteraly have a problem if he went in alone that's not a fight that you can get alone, there is a chance he would manage but i doubt he would sustain to much poison, maybe he would but honestly we cant tell.. although if Tengen who is the second strongest needed help i bet gyomei would need too also you know that The hashiras can only unlock their demon slayer only after tanjiro? I'm gonna try to say this without being a glazer and being respectful. With that being said no Hashira except maybe gyomei would survive gyutaro poison. No one has poison resistance and it'd be stupid to say they wouldn't get hit at least once, and thats all he needs. Plus tengen had to save tanjiro time and time again and occasionally getting cut because of it and I'm not gonna say that anyone of the other Hashira could stop their own heart to slow the poison so nah, tengen was the only one who could do it

Here's what I think will happen
Gyomei will one shot gyutaro and daki
Rengoku will put up a good fight but since he does not have resistance to poison he will die as soon as he gets injected with poison. Same goes for Giyu, muichiro, mitsuri. I beleive these hashira are strong but not strong enough to kill gyutaro and daki while simultaneously avoiding all the poison attacks at the same time
Sanemi: i truly believe sanemi has what it takes to one shot gyutaro and daki given that he knows he can get poisoned by gyutaro. But he will still get poisoned because of his overconfidence and welcoming nature towards battle scars. But it all depends on who strikes first. If sanemi swings at gyutaro, he will be beheaded, if gyutaro does, then sanemi will get poisoned and die before killing them.
Shinobu: I'm very excited about this one, she will poison daki at first and will also infect gyutaro since they were initially sharing the same body, Weakening both of them. And will either solo them or die, depending on the efficiency of her poison in both of them
Obanai: I think he can tolerate poison since he uses snake breathing. So I think he will get poisoned but still kill them eventually, but will die by poisoning just like tengen almost died.
My honest opinion is, excluding Gyomei, tengen was the best hashira to deal with gyutaro due to his poisoning ability

I don't think Obanai could escape after cutting their legs off. Because Gyutaro would just instantly regenerate his legs and stay attacking Obanai. Like he did with Tengen after Tengen sliced his legs clean off.

Since when did Mui show tolerance to poison? He only negated it for some time when ge got his mark. Other than that he felt the needles poison relatively quickly.

Sanemi alone would die. No hashira would survive. I know this is the best generation of swordsmen after the first breathing squad, but these upper moon have killed dozens of hashira. Tokito would be killed easily if he didnt have help and the mark versus Gyoko. Gyutaro + Daki would win against one hashira alone. The only one who has a shot with no help + no mark is Gyomei and he would probably die from the poison, even if he managed to win
