John Calipari talks Kentucky's win over Bellarmine

- It was a tale of two halves for Kentucky basketball vs. Bellarmine, putting forth one of the worst offensive efforts of the year in the first 20 minutes before rolling to a blowout victory in the final 20.
The Wildcats scored the fewest total points the program has seen at halftime since 2018, tied at the break 21-21. UK shot just 30.0% from the field (9-30 FG), 18.2% from three (2-11) and 50.0% from the line (1-2) while allowing the Knights to shoot just 29.2% from the field (7-24) and 21.4% from three (3-14). To put it simply, it was a rock fight in the worst way imaginable.

Basketball team needs an offensive coordinator as well
Hey Cal, maybe you should think about benching Wheeler. His mistakes way outweigh his usefulness. Turnovers, missed freethrows, etc. We would not have lost to Michigan State if he could have hit his freethrows.
Cason missed huge free throws against mich st aswell. Sav is a outstanding pg Buddy.

Agreed. Wheeler will end up costing us the NCAA tournament in a key moment he throws it away or takes a jump shot.

I may not be a huge fan of his in game coaching..but a better ambassador for basketball kids..there is none.

Cals a defensive coach. It's hard to watch and going out of style. I wish he would play his best offence, his best scorers. I don't get it but I'm not a Hall of Famer.

Whatever you decide to do John, don't use the "platoon system" again! We don't want to see a UK team win 38 straight and make it to the final four. We're kinda (like yourself) content with subpar teams and losing early in the tournament or not even making the tournament at all.
Thank God my Astros won! Now I gotta make myself sick to watch this dismal team or just turn it off and watch replays of 2012 or 2015 team.
