Hi, I have a 2002 Mustang V6 that needs a smog test but tester said the 'Service Engine Soon' light doesn't flash when car is on the 'On' position. I did a reset of the dashboard holding down the button and the light does light up but it won't with a normal start-up. Any help would appreciated.
I have service engine soon light, OBD scanner say's (Body control module "B2722" transmission preference circuit low and Electronic Brake Control Module "C0265" EBCM motor relay circuit.)
It’s a service engine soon light not a check engine. So fine to drive it home or to a mechanic and let them check it all out. No need to stop and have it towed smh
First, have you checked the simple things like a low or dead battery, blown fuses / starter relay, or the starter / starter solenoid? If I had to guess without seeing the vehicle I would say it’s the starter.
I have the same issue i have a 2001 F350 7.3 diesel and no code popes up however, when im driving and reach around 45-60 mph my truck shakes a bit but after I pas 60 it stops shaking i have no idea what it could be.
Have yall cleaned/replaced your Mass Airflow Sensor? Little sensor in your intake, literally manages your engine's breathing. (Make sure to remove the battery before servicing, otherwise it throws the light on)
My "service engine soon" light is yellow. The fuel cap was not properly installed, I set it back well, but the light will not go out. What do I do now?
@@Washateriassome older cars will give you a "service engine soon" light with an orange color to it if your gas cap isn't placed correctly, with cars from the 90s- 2000s. Especially Buicks

So far I've replaced my spark plugs and my 02 sensor. Light won't go away...
Brotha if you have 255+k and ur only issue is a check engine light I give you my respect

Update, my light went out 3 days after I put the gas cap in its correct place.

@@Washateriaswith gm cars you need to twist it all the way until it clicks, if you don't it starts wobbling off

I took the car in for service and the light is still on...so, sorry but it did not help. But it is a good tutorial.
