Can the SK02 be used with 2 ZA3 amps? Bypass using the SK01.

What is the point of connecting two headphone amplifiers in series?

The first one, the SK02, is acting solely as a DAC. The second one, the older SK01, provides the actual amplification and EQ/tone control. He could even connect a more powerful amp to the end of the chain and use the SK01 as a pre-amp solely for tone control.

@@WeAreN1njaSince the sk02 is an amp as well, by having both connected to each other, does the sk01 benefit from the power of the sk02, making it more powerful?

@@S1RBR4N Yes, it is. The SK02 is actually acting as a DAC and a pre-amp.
EDIT: Actually, on pass-through, I think it's acting solely as a DAC.

@@S1RBR4N You should be able to. The SK02 uses USB for data and power, and the SK01 runs off it's own battery, so you should be good. If I can find a usb-c to usb-c cable in my cable drawer, I can try it and report back. I won't be able to check until tomorrow, though...
