- I got to test Project Rise PRE - ALPHA, and it's a really fun rogue-lite game. There is still much to improve, and they are looking for feedback.
So far, there are 5 Units, Archer, Barbarian, Valkyrie, Fisherman, and Firecracker. You play in a team of 3 where you explore the map and try to find the way to the next level of the tower where you have to beat the boss stage.
The power-ups are shared with your party so you can split up and clear the map quickly. The power-ups can range from sustain to damage and mobility. When you die, you respawn in 5 seconds, but your party has limited respawns.

@@theguardintemriel thats what im saying, as someone who was selected as a playtester, that shit is unplayable rn. The game is hella laggy like bad bad laggy. If more than 10 enemies get on the screen ur phone will then try and end itself.
A rogue-lite multiplayer but with random teammates each round, that's quite an interesting concept.
Could be even more fun with proximity chat

I played pre alpha and it is actually hard, but thats from someone who hasnt played many games like this
i played it and it was piss easy until the boss on floor 5. some people got to 35! obviously in the main game you're gonna get resources to upgrade your account to make it possible to play more floors

But it really is their chance to expand from the mobile gaming market, would be cool if they tried.
There once was a rumor they planned to try consoles but nothing came out of that.

Finally, this was the one I was most excited for when they revealed a bunch of projects.. Let's hope they don't shut this down after a few months
This is the most hype i've been for a Supercell game since Clash Royale
They should add quests like killing a specific enemy a certain amount of times, beating a floor with a specific charecter or beating a floor without dying to get things like:
•abilities
•a currency
•or some thing else

They can add some , permanent scaling augments , and a stats window , which would be neat to understand the character health and play style, anyways pretty good game

They should add different worlds as you progress, for instance a desert world were every floor is desert themed and they could add different game modes like squad busters.

I am primarily a console player and id like to see this become a xbox game as well. Mobile gaming to me is just an after thought like if im on the toilet or something. But i do love watching oj play them

Supercell has been working on Royale for so long, they genuinely don't know what a balanced game looks like.
I'm praying this game stays. I know it started as Clash Heroes, so I was worried if they stopped working on it before the revamp.
This is my type of game. Is this what they decided to turn Clash Heroes into? If so I'm down for it, this looks like it's going to be fun. Let's hope it survives.
This is actually one of the games I was excited for when supercell announced they are making new games and completely forgot about it since it had no updates on its progress I’m surprised they finally showed some alpha test

I find it interesting that they "killed" clash heroes for this. All of the gameplay from the announcements looked very similar, and the original announcement also shows multiplayer gameplay which is supposedly the focus of project rise but not clash heroes. This game looks really interesting though...

If they add a way to make your own team with friends + a chat and fix the bugs, it could already be released as full game. It really seems fun, I love how we can play these characters from the clash universe, I've always loved these "pick your own abilities" type games. This really has potential, I can't wait to play it
They should add solo play and story mode too. It looks super promising

watch it be another "10X VALUE ON THIS 1000$ OFFER" type of game.
Imo they should make a new game with loveable adlnd new refreshing characters, instead of just recyclig assets and using the same characters trom other supercell games
One way they could make the perk selection shorter is probably by putting all 5 perks on the screen and everybody chooses them at the same time. With newer players it would take ~20 seconds, with veterans less than 2
When oj call those hidden enemies on level 2 “sneakerioony” just make me giggle
Two things from me. I don't think there should be a chat during play but maybe in-between levels they give you like 1-3 minutes to talk about game plan. The second thing is I think they should put in two types of lobbies one for the "Speed Runners" and the other one for people who want to explore around and take their time to level up.
The level perks that we keep only 3 per floor should be royal or ancient theme colour not blue
as long they don't add a lot of RNG into this game or some gacha mechanics, then maybe it'll make it big, cosmetic should be fine and locking some "premium" hero should be fine too, but they should make as much of them to all as possible even if it takes long to get them
A lot of rng is what makes rogue-lites fun though
I think there should be an emote button and little chat like in CR u say "good game" here u could say "I need help" "come here" for an example. Let supercell cook 😂😂
Personally I'd suggest letting all players pick from the upgrades at the same time, just to minimize the waiting times.
Aside from that, though, this looks _really_ fun
This is basically an old game called Gauntlet but with Clash heroes and a skill tree

Match-up heroes probably won’t repeat as well, so this might be the best supercell game if they global launch it.
At this point I want to say “don’t screw it like you always do”.
Hope they release this sooner than later before Rouge like games become old news like auto chess did. Supercell is definitely to slow to develop a good game or ride the hype train before it leaves the station.

Rogue-lite games aren’t going anywhere any time soon. They’ve been popular for years. Dead Cells, the Risk of Rain games, and the Binding of Isaac all came out years ago, and they are the most popular rouge-lites.

When I was testing my biggest wish was for some sort of team communication. Like tapping pre typed messages or something.
Anyways, if you want to be immortal pick health on kill and the double hp from health drops upgrades because they stack. But I guess it's too late now lol.
they are excited to make a 20x deal in whatever shop that instantly progresses you to the max level, but 2 months later the level cap gets increased
