    Great review! We've been considering a backpack type carrier for our soon to be 6 month old son and your review really helped us decide. The only thing we were hesitant on was the lack of footrests but considering how flat this packs down it's perfect for our needs. Osprey say that it's considered as a carry on/diaper bag for a child due to the storage. I've a question for you, can it pack down with one or two small packing cubes in the storage compartment underneath? Subscribed, thank you!

      Hi Daniel. It's a really great question - and something we'd not properly investigated until now. Turns out...you can fit a heck of a lot! We've made a quick RUclips Shorts video for you with some packing cubes so that you can see how much we managed to fit. Hope it's helpful.

    Great review. I want to buy it as a present for my daughter. I am a little bit concerned because her child has the potential to be very tall. I wonder if you can inform me about the maximum height of the child?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop 2 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for the question. The short answer is no, there is no recommended max height, only max weight. However you can lower the baby seat and Osprey recommend that the baby’s chin should be level with the top of the pillow/removable cushion pad. So you will be able to adjust the carrier to accommodate growth spurts.

    Could you show how to adjust the inside baby carrier to move up and down

      Hi, thanks for your question. I can't show you as we're away at the moment but from memory it's a bit of a fiddle but you have to slide your hand inside the front of the carrier and release the velcro and then adjust from there - similar the the way the shoulder straps adjust - hope this helps.

    Hello, what is the pocket on the back, below sunshade? Is it usable?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop 2 года назад +1

      Hi there, yes it's at hand size for wallet., suncream, a couple of nappies/diapers. It's not just a sleeve pocket, it's about 2 inches wide fully stuffed.

    Hi, thank you this video, I have a few question before i buy. Doesn't the metal on the side of the child bother him? Is there any space for a Hydration System pouch in the backrest? thank you

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop Год назад

      Hi, yes you can slide a hydration bladder inside the back system. The metal frame isn't really an issue as the harness means they don't really lean into it that hard and they rest more the the upper mesh section.

    Thanks for the video!
    Have you figured out what the mystery zipper behind the straps on the Poco LT is for? I can't find any mention of it anywhere.
    Wish the harness cover was slightly more elegant than just stuffing it in a random hole. Another good tip I saw on reddit was tying some muslim to the handle in front of the childs face to make it more washable

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop 5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, good question, I had to check with the guys at Osprey! That zip is used in the manufacturing process. There is no use for it unless the carrier needed to be repaired.
      Great tip on the muslin to keep the cushion clean - thanks.

    What kind and size of waterbladder is recommended for the poco lt? Also, is the raincover universal for all of the poco carries?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop 3 года назад +1

      Hi There - You can use any of the mainstream water bladder systems with the carrier (Camelbak, Platypus etc) and the pocket for it is certainly big enough for a 2L bladder and may even go bigger depending on which brand you have.
      With regards the raincover, we don't have any in stock yet, but as far as we can tell - they are pictured fitting on both the Poco and the Poco LT. We'll try and update this comment once we've got them in hand and tried on both carriers.
      Hope that helps.

    Can you use a hydration reservoir with this?

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop Год назад

      Hi, yes you can. It's easier with the Poco and the Poco Plus, but with the LT you can slide a reservoir (2 or 2.5 L) behind the velcro of the adjustable harness and secure it with the clip at the top.

    Hello is it possible to buy some footrest ? I seems to be uncomfortable for child without them.

    • @LittleAdventureShop
      @LittleAdventureShop 3 года назад

      Hi there. The Poco is a very light/stripped back carrier, so doesn't come with footrests. It's still very comfortable for the child (and on some of the larger carriers children sometimes prefer not to use footrests too). The Poco and Poco plus do have a stirrup option though if that's important to your child. Hope that helps!

      I got some stirrups by Deuter for $10 online. You'll need some extra straps or cordage to secure, I had some from and old pack that I parted out. Works fine by securing to the side handles.
