I think the substitutions of keepers are very different, it's more mental and putting Ortega would be extremely pressuring for him which is unnecessary this late in the season, it has to be Ederson or even Carson because they know how others quads play for the PL whichis very different from cups. But I'm sure Ortega and Ederson will share games next season.

I wish when we won the league in 20/21 we had played him enough to meet the requirement for a premier league medal. We won the league by 12 pts and even if he had hit 5 appearances as a 85th min sub he would’ve earned a medal. It was so sad to watch him walk out onto the pitch before everyone, get a handshake and then step to the side while everyone else was awarded a winners medal

All top clubs always have a third choice in goal as you never know what can happen. A very good example is Chelsea. When their 1st and 2nd choice gk, Cech and Cudicini injured on the same game against Reading. Their 3rd choice gk, Hilario had to step up on following games. Unlike outfield players, formation and tactics can be change during injury crisis but gk are irreplaceable.
