If you wanted to pay off your debt with only the 3 weeds that grow on your island every day, it'd take 1,858,800 days or 5092 years, 7 months and 1 week. If you started with today's weeds on the 7th June 2021, it'd take you (not accounting for leap years) until the 13th of January 7114 to complete. That's approximately 89 lifetimes. To truly put it into perspective, 5092 years ago from today was around the end of the stone age.

As someone who grinded enough sticks to craft 2000 flimsy nets, and 2000 campfires, I can tell you it takes an hour and a half of shaking trees to fill your inventory... That would be 64.5 days of constant tree shaking to pay your loan... And that's without the time it'd take to sell them all

@@RGC_animation yeah I've almost got everything. Just need to catch like 1000 more bugs, help a load of villagers, and complete a load of nook miles+ quests. Also collected almost every item. Besides the photos, I'm missing 3 items
Don't forget that the drop-off box has a 20% service charge, so while it'd be quicker than entering Nook's Cranny each time, you would need to collect an extra 25% of whatever you're selling to reach the same numbers!
Timmy and Tommy are geniuses, for just saving 5 seconds of your time, they get a 20% discount, and it's basically the same work to collect it and I presume store them.

A few days ago me and my sister caught 10 Coelacanths combined in one day. The 4 (I think) that my sister caught were her first four. Turns out that a rainy day on your island can really let you rake in the cash.
Yeah, especially if you know the size difference between a sea bass and a rare fish, it's pretty subtle when looking at each one alone but I saw a larger shadow next to a sea bass shadow and it turned out to be an oarfish.

I like to deep-sea dive for bells. I make a day of it to see how much I can make. I have one final loan to go, it's taken so long and my storage is full so I have some diving to do.

@@_____________a_a You sure can! Works wonders. Another thing you can do is sell one fish bait for one nook miles ticket. Although it's tedious, it is a really quick way of getting bells and tickets. People pay for things that are boring to do.
I use golden and blue roses (or rather the crowns crafted out of those) to pay off my debt. It is sooo easy once you have those flowers and you can get a lot of money with this method.

You can make a lot of Bells from selling blue- and gold-rose wreaths or crowns...IF you're lucky enough to get those particular DIY's. I've been playing for three years and I only have one of them.

White Shark would now be 22.5k bells and the 12k bugs would be 18k. I once sold 401 bugs for about 1.25 million bells in one day.
Plot twist: he actually did all of these suggestions instead of calculating them.
For the Great White Shark. You would need to sell only 207 if you have CJ on your island.
oh man the 19 seconds to get a bell voucher was too painfully real...

Interesting about the Robot Hero.. they are only 5,000 Nook Miles and you can get 5 a day. So you could realistically get 1.25 million a day just by rushing nook miles all day and ordering 5 robots a day. Do that for six days, since you don't actually get the robots on the first day, and on the seventh day you could be debt free.

for paying off with nook miles, couldn't you buy nook mile tickets and try to farm the islands for money as a method? Like money rock island or farming tarantulas / scorpions / rare fish on their respective islands
For sure, using bell vouchers is just a more simple and easy to explain way of doing it.

I actually paid off most of my house payment with mainly fishing. I still have last payment to finish. (Of course there were other forms of income but they were very insignificant totaling 10k in total about.) I got to 300 points on the fishing tournament first time around.
I can practically predict what fish is going to come up before it happens just by seeing the silhouette. Pro tip: if it's the right size 50% chance it's sea bass because I've literally drowned my island in seabass before.

I payed my house loans off almost exclusively with Peacock butterflies. Shortly after I payed off my last loan, they severely nerfed the spawn rate of Peacock butterflies lol.
How many items in the game lose value after Crafting? I recently learned the wasp nest sells for 300 but after making medicine with it that sells for like 125.
100, though you can make flooring with 5 and get 3k that way, 6k if hot item.

Sticks aren’t the least money the item that are considered “trash” sell for nothing so you need infinite of those and you still won’t pay it off
About the turnip one you would have to pay more than that because of how turnips work you would have to pay 110 bells instead of 90

I sell anything that I can buy again cheaply and duplicate clothes or ones that I don't wear. I keep event and expensive items, like wedding furniture or a kitchen island, and I keep clothes that I wear often. It actually can get you a lot especially if your storage is close to full
And I have the max storeage, but you can now get 5000 with the 2.0 update. Right now, I only have 97 items out of 1600.
