For all their MVs you can see the behind-the-scenes making of... This one is def. worth it.
Just a minor point of correction this was not in one take but the final performance was in one shot. I think it's important to make that distinction. If you watch the making of you can see that they attempted several takes.

I always love watching "new people" discover the beauty of BTS. I mean think about! These seven South Korean guys came from nothing to become the biggest music act in the world. Their looks and charm are a factor...sure. But their talent , work ethic, and intelligence are extraordinary! Their lyrics, their depth, the rapping skills of Suga, RM, and J Hope....I just can't say enough about them! I am 64 this week and I love this group with all of my heart! This is an older song, and they are very young here, but you can see that their lyricism is already making its mark. Thanks for reacting to BTS. Save me...another reaction soon!

please watch the making of this video, this was done in one shot so it's funny seeing them running around hiding from the camera when they need to be off frame but it's hard work and they pulled it off brilliantly. and credits also need to be given to the camera man. oh and this was also shot when there was a storm brewing adding to the overall aesthetic of the MV.
this is one of the most insane video, not because its got anything grand but because it was shot in one take.
It was a Korean beach and it was cold and wet and miserable. The 'making of' video is really worth seeing.

I've said it before. Watch the video TWICE! The first time you all watch it for the music video, quality, cinematography, the dancing, etc., then you watch it again, this time you can just watch the lyrics since you already saw the video. The ARMY doesn't mind watching long video reactions! They are watching YOUR reactions.
Taken on its own, yes, ‘Save Me’ is a beautiful, singular gem.
It’s also a song with a partial mirror ‘twin’ linked through an ambigram, released a couple of years later. This second song is called ‘I’m Fine’ and it’s worth looking for videos of the two performed back to back live. It responds to some of the questions asked in Save Me, as well as featuring mirrored musical passages and even performance order.
Jimin from bts just got #1 billboard hot 100 today !!! They are eating the charts in the US and global!!!!!
This entire MV was a one shot take (which is really hard to do.
Also I never skip this song when it comes on my playlist as its so hauntingly beautiful and the dance may look simple but it's complicated aswell

Was taken in one shot. Watch the camera movements, the camera man was literally part of the choreography.
You can adjust your subtitles in the settings - where they're located, type, colors, size... sometimes it's just better visually because it gets less in the way at the bottom than the top, imo
Their MVs are usually in South Korea. All have at least 1 full behind the scenes vid & you'll see natural locations, practical effects they use, how much is built, etc...
This is one take. No cutting, no editing, no changing. It was a rainy, windy day, they rehearsed in that weather. Got a break, performed, and kudos to the camera people.
BTS has so much variety. They've all had solos (both under the BTS umbrella as well as personal projects that aren't technically "BTS" songs). Just a general suggestion: please listen to the album version (or watch the MV, if there is one) of a song before watching it live. That way you hear the original at its clearest - often, live videos don't have the best audio quality (some with feedback, echoing, etc.) And they often remix live versions so the instrumentals can sound totally different.
Next recommendations: "On: Kinetic Manifesto Film", "Black Swan" (MV), "Run BTS" dance practice and live (there's no MV for this one) - note: the song is called RUN BTS; they have another earlier song that's just called Run; Jimin's solo releases with MVs (barely three weeks old): "Like Crazy" (which debuted at number one on Billboard Hot 100 a couple days ago! The first for an Asian soloist since 1963; BTS as a group topped it with Dynamite in 2020), and "Set Me Free Pt. 2" (can also watch the dance practice for this one after).
And for a taste of their rap line (RM, Suga and J-Hope), "Outro: Tear" (lyric video first, then live at Wembley in black outfits), "Ddaeng" (lyric video, and suggest 'explanation video' by DKDKTV), "UGH" (lyric video) - also explanation video for this one;

Just a note - many Kpop rappers are good but only a few are authentic poetry-in-my-bones rappers like RM and Suga who started out really young as underground rappers before joining BTS (and who keep writing lyrics and poetry any chance they get). J-Hope started out as a street dancer (who was inspired by J.Cole and others) - he only learned rapping after he joined BTS but he quickly developed his own style and vibe. They (and the other members) all have real substance (on top of beautiful hearts, minds and, yes, faces) and that's why their fandom is so huge, diverse (age and demographic) and devoted. Looking forward to more, thanks! (Don't want to overload you all at once, so vocal line suggestions will come another time).
Don’t compare or talk about other groups! BTS is a class of their own and many people copy them!

Just to note on the simplicity of this video in particular - as in the lower budget and lack of high set production - that’s because the label was near bankruptcy at the time and they had to run lean at this time. The lyrics literally are dual messaging of save me to their fan base in a way. Their artistry still shined through and this remains one of their best MV’s to date.
Some of they lyrics are english, just to let you know each member does have solo songs. RM - Wildflower, SUGA - Daechwita, J Hope with J Cole - In the Street, Jin - The Astronaut (with Coldplay), JK - Dreamers, Jimin - Set me Free Or 2 and V - Christmas Tree. Two of the members have left to do they military service as it mandatory in Korea with the others following soon, they are back together again in 2025.
J-Hope hasn't technically enlisted yet, but he will soon.
Right so he is pretty much enlisted and will leave very soon. So my comment was technically right.

Veo muchas reacciones y unos los ven hasta 3 veces. Otros leen primero la letra….. pero sin hacer esto no se puede reaccionar bien.
Casi todos tienen vídeos de como los hacen. Estos chicos no tienen nada que ocultar.
Además escriben letras, música, hacen coreo y por supuesto producen.
También hay algunos temas que debido a la diferencia cultural no entendemos pero existen vídeos con la explicación.

Oh no not the BSB comparison lol...while yes BSB is a boyband BTS is WAY more than just that...BSB can not all sing, can not all dance and can not rap...the only comparison is they are guys in a group thats where that ends.
I highly suggest listening to it first to get the vibe THEN reading it. I have not read all the songs that I have listened to (and there are hundreds) because I vibe to them first. Then later I will read what they are saying.

PLEASE stop referring to them as similar to the Backstreet Boys or NSYNC... they are not even in the same stratosphere as BTS. I know this may sound petty, but I was born in 1980 and was there for all the "boy bands" and trust me... they sounded/danced/rapped NOTHING like BTS.
Most of their songs have SOME English. Check out the lyrics first then watch the MV or watch the MV twice. This MV was also a one-shot MV.

I already saw two reactions in which you talk about blackpink when the video is from BTS and I must tell you that most of the Army don't like kpop and much less blackpink and why do you compare them with other bands? They are nothing like other things you have seen or heard before and I don't mean it badly, it's just advice, keep an open mind and don't compare, don't try to find similarities
