The music is Mozart's Divertimento for Strings 1 in D 1st Movement :)
WOW. That's amazing. I'd never have the patience for that.
Very cool! Can't wait for the next installment! :D
What software did you use for this? Flash/After effects/photoshop????
Wow that's precise xD
When will the whole film come out not just the trailer?
Pretty music.
he is pro
@TheHappyLittleBee Adobe Flash; I'm quite certain.
He looks like great fun, so to dinner I'd come...
He looks like he could quite pissidly hold court.....
fuckin heell, hat was amazin! xxx
ugh, EFFORT! D:
That's an awful lot of work to make something so unappealing to look at
Thats crazy. Why so much trouble with vector instead of just digitally inking it?
Yuck. Let's be honest...if it weren't for computers, no way could this guy make an animated film. Dan Hertzfeldt he ain't.
@SirTeeGeeEss Ummmm....agreed, but kind of beside the point? What's that got to do with this particular film sucking?
@MartijnCalkhoven Illustrator cs5? agreed :D The new Shape finder speeds things along nicely as it lets you 'carve' vectors in a similar fashion to Flash. If Illustrator had a timeline, keyFrames, onionskinning etc, I'd prefer it for animation. This process takes longer is because I'm setting up a model for animation - separating everything onto individual layers.
@MartijnCalkhoven not a chance!! Doing stuff like this is much quicker in flash... you'd have to use live paint or a million uses of the Pathfinder tool, which is unnecessary in Flash.
that being said... it would be less editable in the end so I'd go for illustrator myself. But it's defintiely not quicker
If you'd made this in Illustrator, this video would be, what, 20 seconds?
Deep apologies if this has been answered or revealed before, but what version of flash are you using?
WOW simply WOW.
Don't know who you are (would like to though) but your are amazing at what you do.
im rating this 5 before i watch it, the trailer is fab fab fab fab!
Holy shit that was awesome to watch.
@qwertyajb My lips are sealed, I just want to enjoy the meal
@jbrisby sure he could, it would just take months.
just use pencil man ıt is much more easier.......
@stormmovie I love the background music! Thanks!
Looks like MC Frontalot
(In a good way)
what's the music piece?
I used Flash CS5 (no need to upgrade though, apart from some minor stability fixes). Be sure to download 'Smartcurve' though. Tt's a flash drawing tool I built during the Storm production; saved a lot of time and hassle. All the best, dt
(just do a google search for "dcturner smartcurve" )
Wow, I knew animation was complicated, but I never knew quite to what extent!!
